This isn't quite a serum, so if you're after somthing to really smooth frizz and add shine, go with citre shine or nicky clarke serums. Or aveda or something. This is a smoothing balm. Which doesn't really do all that much. I smooth some on mid blow dry and it adds a bit of texture. I run some through the ends too, which is nice. This is an okay product - I like the price and I can work with it.
This is another wonderful product from Boots' line of Mediterranean inspired products. The Walnut Grape Fig Smoothing Hair Balm contains smoothing organic walnut oil, protective grape seed extract and organic fig extract. The first thing I noticed when I ran this through my hair was how absolutely heavenly it smells - very much like spicy tea! The consistency of the balm is quite thin, unlike many others out there, and therefore I find I need to use quite a bit as my hair is really thick and wavy. That's the drawback, since the pump bottle is not too large at only 1.7 oz. The plus is that it does a really nice job smoothing my hair down and preventing frizzies from occuring, even in the heat and humidity of the impending summer! Rave but I do wish the bottle was larger!
Not bad for high street store...this comes in a pump form (thumbs up) and is a white liquid, just a bit on the thick side. It contains walnut oil, grape seen extract and other stuff, and smells ok. Kind of nutty
this does a decent job of smoothing my hair, although has no straightening effects. Not bad, although over used and you get that 'ugh!too much silicone!' feel
