When I first tested this product, it reminded me of a luminizer Biotherm used to make a long long time ago. They don't have the product anymore but the fluid sheer was so similar that it almost made me think Giorgio Armani bought the formulation from Biotherm and thus making Biotherm discontinue their product. Even the smell is the same!! Anyways, I really enjoy this product a lot. I can't say that this works well as a highlighter. Definitely, you would have to layer it couple of times before gettin it to the 'highlighter' level but it's fantastic when you want that inner glow look. I've compared this to Benefit Highbeam and Stila All Over Shimmer liquid luminizer and it's much more subtle than the two products I just named above. This doesn't have any chunks of shimmer and the only product that I can compare it to would be the MAC Strobe Cream. It is very very fine shimmer which is not easily visible to the naked eye, thus giving more of a light glow than a light reflecting shiny highlight. Its pale pink shade is very versatile in my opinion, suiting more fair to light medium skins regardless of undertones. It's so pretty, love the glow which is what I always look for. Never looking overdone and always looking fresh and super clean. It is so much harder to have your makeup look natural with a glow and flawless than just piling up a layer of foundation with all sorts of products. I think this fluid sheer really makes the natural glowy makeup that much more easy and possible. Mix a very small amount in your tinted moisturizer, moisturizer alone, or foundation depending on your choice. A little goes a long way for this and I would continue to purchase this as long as I can afford it. And about the pump, I have to agree it pumps out an awful lot of product and it's difficult to control the amount which can be a waste for such an expensive product. So I just unscrew the pump and drop a little bit into whatever I'm mixing it with.

I love everything about Fluid Sheer except the fact that it makes my pores highly visible. The glow Fluid Sheer gives is great, I usually add it on top of my foundation but it works also under it, result is only more subtle. Best highlighter I've tried so far, no need for YSL Touche Eclat anymore!

I have tried almost all of their fluid sheer and this is my favorite. It doesnt give too much glitters. It is pale pink but it gives you that perfect glow. I use it with my lasting or luminous silk and the result is fabolous. I spent a lot of money for GA make up line and so far i love most of them. Highly recomended..

I guess I'll keep spreading love and also say how much I love this product! I like to use it as Tim Quinn suggests on the Armani website, by using it with an eye contour brush around my eyes, to give that eye area a lift. I also love using it around the cheeks--because of this pale shimmering color it's one of the more versatile highlighters in this line. As with the other sheers, I also love the subtle sheen that this gives off. It gives a glow while not being overly shiny or glittery. Got to love this!

Love, love, love this. I get the most increadible sheen on my cheeks. I also use sparily on my lids as a primer. Bottle is large so for the price you get a ton of highlighter that doesn't need a lot in order to be effective. the bottle is thick and doesn't allow you to see the amount left, but all I do is shine a flashlight against it and I can tell how full it is.

Perfect highlighter - it gives polished, healthy finish to the skin. And that is what I need. Sometimes I apply product directly on highlighting points of my face, sometimes I mix it with liquid foundation. It is expensive, but there is a plenty of product in the bottle.

Perfection!! What a wonderful addition to any makeup bag. Mix it with your foundation, put it on straight out of the bottle, on eyes, cheeks, nose, cupid's bow, anywhere! It's not shimmery or glittery or anything like that. Just sheer glowing perfection. It's by far the best highlighter I've ever tried. I even bought my mother the tan colored Fluid sheer and she looked so amazing all summer long! Highly recommend this product and all of the fluid sheers. they just give you that extra something that makes the rest of your makeup and face look amazing!!

Why doesn't this product have a 100% rating? Absolute HG sheer genius product. Bought as a complete impulse buy from savvy SA at Saks, as part of package including foundation, lipstick/liner, eyebrow pencil, makeup brush. I figured I was already doing way too much damage to my credit card bill and the way the SA had used it on my eyebrows and cheeks looked pretty. Well, it's turned out to be the best of these purchases. Very pretty and subtle glow, which is not easy to achieve in the daytime with usual highlighters. I find that often when in full sunlight I'll end up looking like a Vegas showgirl who wandered away from the show. Instead, this gives my cheekbones and brow/corner of my eyes enough glow to gently highlight them. The best use for this is as a makeup *eraser*. If the line of lipliner is a bit off or too harsh, a drop of the fluid sheer will easily erase this and create a perfect border on my lips. same for eye makeup. I found myself applying a taupe shadow with too heavy hand one morning. One fast swipe of fluid sheer, and it was toned down to the perfect amount of pigment, without need of further touch ups. Perfect.

I add a drop of this to a drop of my Armani Foundation and mix them together before applying with a brush and it adds sheerness and luminous. I'm a PPP and I love the extremely subtle glow that it gives to my skin. Not at all a shimmer, but just a fresh glow that's as nice for day time as evening. I now buy a bottle of this each time I need a new bottle of foundation. Love it.

Got it from eBay. Pretty pearl pink but a little pale for me. I use it as a highlight only. I love its texture but won't buy again. Because it's not my color.

I love the way this actually looks, but am too lazy to use this more often. But when I take the time, like when I am going out at night, this looks very pretty. Subtle shimmer on my cheekbones, or mixed with foundation, I love it...

This is a very subtle, pink-toned liquid highlighter. It will give your skin a natural-looking gleam wherever you apply it and will not add much color or visible shimmer. Both are good things, in my book, and this seems to flatter my LLL/AAB complexion (though there's no real color added so I think it'd work on pretty much anyone). It seems to last all day on my combination skin, though I only put it on the tops of my cheekbones, my browbones and sometimes my chin and the bridge of my nose. There is no scent and the texture is light and non-oily. You only need a bit, but this stuff is still incredibly expensive. I'm not sure if I'd buy a full-sized version (I swapped for a sample) as I can achieve a similar effect (though not quite as subtle) with Becca's Shimmer Powder in "Angel", Benefit's HighBeam, or Revlon's Skinlights liquid highlighter. continued >>

GA fluid sheers are my favourite liquid shimmer highligher product of all time -- oil-free and perfect formula for my skin. They always go on smooth and sheer, does not grease up or alter other products on my skin. #7 is a unique shade in my opinion, it is an irridescent pearly shade that has a pinkish tint ... I mainly use it to highlight my cheekbones (over blush or alone) and mix with cream/gel blushes. It is so gorgeous when used that way on strong yellow-undertoned skin like mine (NC25) but I can imagine any skintone to be able to use it. I find it gives me a similar effect on my cheeks as BE clear radiance does -- really pretty. Those who need to tone down yellow in foundations will also find this useful, but I can't use it that way since I have very strong yellow undertones and have the opposite problem with foundations. The shimmer in this product is similar to #0, only pink irridecence instead of white pearl.

Bought this along with Silk UV compact and LSF #4, mainly for toning down the yellowness in the foundations as an overall makeup base. It's also good to mix it with LSF for quick application when I'm in a hurry, the dewy look is very good for spring/summer months or when I'm wearing light brown/beige makeup. This doesn't work for me as a highlighter -- too light too sheer, except when my skin is in good condition and I only lightly brush on some compact powder for color coordination with the neck. I may or may not repurchase since this product is not exactly unique, but am liking it quite well at the moment.

I TRIED THE FS IN #3. IT IS PRETTY AND IT DOES MAKE YOU GLOW. ONE THING THAT I DONT LIKE IS THAT AFTER LIKE SAY TEN MINUTES I DON'T SEE IT ANYMORE. IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE TOO. I DO NOT THINK IT IS WORTH $53 FROM SAKS FIFTH AVENUE. I AM A MEDIUM BROWN. I THOUGHT THAT #8 WAS TOO RED. I MIGHT TRY #10. NOT BECAUSE I NEED IT BUT I AM JUST ADDICTED TO MAKEUP.

At last!!! After reading all the rave reviews, I finally got my HG highlighter!!! I went with anticipation to buy any surplus Pearl Veils (LE Spring 2005) but was disappointed that they've sold that out in Hong Kong as well...Nevertheless, the MA recommended that I buy FS#7 instead. She insisted that the opalescent pink fluid would stand out equally well on my LLL complexion. She added that FS#2 has more shimmer than #7 which may not be too appropriate if I want to wear this in the office. I definitely can't have shimmres all over my face in daytime when I'm trying to look credible in front of my clients. Sure enough...FS#7 was gorgeous on my cheekbones and browbones and goes well with LSF4. It reminds me of Laura Mercier's Secret Brightener which is slightly more flesh-toned than GA's #2. As for the packaging, I'm not sure if GA has changed the pump for the new batch cos I find that I'm able to control the volume as I pump out...However, I'll not purcahse this item after I'm done with it as I don't foresee this "dewy" look is going to last another year...

Fluid Sheer #7 is touted as imparting a very natural & subtle luminescence to the complexion. I'll admit that it has a lovely texture and once applied, it doesn't feel like I have anything on my face at all. Doesn't cause break outs and doesn't cause my TZone to glisten unnaturally! The only thing is...I agree with the reviewer below - the effect of the Fluid Sheer may be *too* subtle. I look in the mirror thinking, "can you see it? at all?". I am NC25 BBB, so not a PPP - maybe I need a different colour for my complexion?? It was pretty steep price at close to $70Cdn - I guess I was hoping for something a tad more dramatic. I returned to the GA counter, and the MA tried to convince me that it was *supposed* to be subtle... but you know, there is a fine line between 'subtle' and 'invisible' and I'm pretty sure this product has crossed it. I plan to return & exchange #7 for #2 or #0 - I wish the MA was of more assistance in directing me to the appropriate colour for my complexion. I will keep you posted ;-) continued >>

My HG! I'm not usually a highlighter-gal, but I can't live without this one ever since I bought it.The hue is so subtle. It's also versatile and blendable. I use it mixed with sunscreen, primer or liquid foundation; it can also be used on top of them, or under compact foundation or loose powder. It just goes with everything.

Had high hopes for my first GA product and am sorry to say that I was disappointed.
This is a pretty pink highlighter but did not highlight as much as I would have liked. I was hoping that this would be a superior and pink version of Becca's SSP in Pearl which I love but... while the packaging was a lot better, the product just didn't live up to my expectations.
Nevertheless this product does give a diffused pretty pink glow, a bit more 'highlighting' factor and it'd get all 5 stars... but I still want to try the bronzer and cream blush!
