love love love this lipstick, the reason is because I have never had a lipstick go on with such ease and glide. Just one application across my lips and the color is there and perfect. The quality of this blew me away

#15 ... my holy grail for lipsticks. Ive never re-bought a lipstick nor stocked up on a color that was going to be discontinued until i found this!!! my lips chap easily and are always dry and this lipstick def either moisturizes or covers the fact that im chapped. I love i love i love.

I started using Giorgio Armani cosmetics 7 years back when they tried to penetrate the Singapore market. The first counters were set up at the Airports. Just like the fashion label, the cosmetic line came in sleek and sophisticated packaging. I would say that they do not offer high colour pay-offs like MAC amplifieds. But the formula was very moisturising and offers a nice wash of colour that compliments any skin colour. The lipstick does not feather or streak on the lips, it does not leave a whitish residue nor dehydrate the lips. The line offers a wide array of wearable colours.
The price is slightly on the high side. There should be better substitutues out there.
I have gone thru 4 tubes of GA lipsticks and they all have the same problem. After a few weeks of usage, the bottom of the tube will become unstable and the lipstick will slant very slightly to the side. Nonetheles, I managed to finish all four tubes safely.

These lipsticks (I have tried 3) are very greasy on the lips and do not stay put well at all, even with Armani lipliner. They go on and feel very luxurious, but I just felt all day long I like I had on thick lip gloss, which is not a feeling I relish when I want lipSTICK. I think these lipsticks are very expensive for how often they have to be reapplied. Not good stuff.

Armani's Shine lipsticks are my favorite formula. They don't dry out my lips and they leave a slight shine yet wear very well. I bought #28 which is a brown-red color that doesn't turn orange on my pigmented lips.

I am reviewing #20. This is a beautiful hibiscus red with slight sheen. It's actually really beautiful and I'm surprised it has not been reviewed yet. A definite keeper in my book!

These and the sheer GA lipsticks are my absolute favorites of my 200+ collection of lipsticks. I can't pass a mu counter w/o buying a lipstick but the GA formulas are the ones I reach for all of the time. Hard for me to find and pricey but they are incomparable for moisture, shine, and beautiful colors w/o a yucky taste or smell. Highest recs from me--I'd give a higher rating if I could, they are that good.

This is a great semi-matte, semi-sheer, weightless lipstick with decent staying power that gradually fades but still leaves behind pigment. I bought #21 which is a darker plum berry but on me it's a nice classic muted red and then fades to a very nice berry.

I've been meaning to get an Armani shine lipstick. I got it in #22. I like this color a lot, a natural yet visible reddish-taupe shade. The shine formula is semi-sheer, indeed shiny and feels soft and weightless. The big problem is it disappears rather quickly. I also find the Armani shade line to be somewhat disappointing, they lean heavily towards brownish-orangey shades/very warm toned. Those shades tend to wash me out.

I loooooove this lipstick, it's like a moisturizing gloss and lipstick in one!! I would definitely repurchase it =)

Giorgio Armani Shine Lipstick is without a doubt the best lipstick I have ever used. It has an unbelievably creamy texture with incredible shine--no need to goop gloss over it. There is virtually no scent, no stickiness, just weightless wonder. So far I've bought the #4, which is the perfect rose and has become my signature color, and #21, which I bought over the phone since the Saks in Minneapolis doesn't have Armani yet. It's the first time I bought a lipstick sight unseen. It's a little darker than I'm used to, but the lustrous quality makes it more subtle and natural-looking. I'm a believer.
P.S. I've been using the sheer #10 too. Perfect.

Being used to Armani's sheer lipsticks, I decided to try the shine lipsticks when they had the display for the Christmas collection. The texture is fabulous! It has a sheen to it and feels very moisturizing on my lips. When compared to the sheer lipsticks, the sheer ones feel weightless on my lips but the shine lipsticks has a moisturizing feeling, not greasy but very comfortable. Pricey at AU$45 but for that texture, it is well worth it. Armani has managed to convert a once lipgloss-only gal into branching out to lipsticks. Would re-purchase and I'm actively seraching Productsville for more shine lipsticks to try.

I bought #5, the colour looks great on my skin and the texture is smooth and moisturising. I guess it is a Shine Lipstick and it is not meant to stay on the lips all day. If any one wants a natural looking lipstick, this is a good one to pick.

I wanted to love this. The colour was nice, the packaging was great but it lasted all of two minutes on my lips. Not worth the money at all!

I have been a long time user of Nars's sheer lipsticks, specifically, Captiva, a gorgeous berry color that has been my staple lip color. However, the past five or so times I have purchased it, the lipstick case broke within a month of use and the product itself began to have an oily smell to it. I was very upset as I did not think I'd ever find a color, texture and attractive packaging I'd adore as much as the Nars. Enter Mr. Armani. I picked up the Sheer Lipstick in #12 today and while slightly more brown toned, it is a near replica of Captiva. It has a great texture and very little scent. Plus, it has an attractive little tube. Seeing as how the Armani is the same price as the Captiva, if it manages to stay in one piece until I finish it, I'll be saying au revoir to Francois Nars.

What I really love about this lipstick is that it is very very creamy, it almost melt in your lips, yet it feels weightless. I have #18 which is a creamy beige-taupe, a perfect match of MAC Stripdown liner. I will absolutely buy another shade.
Edited 05/2006: From all lipstick brands that I've tried, I have to say that Armani is the best one. But unfortunately I didn't have access to this line and online swatches are not very helpful, so I haven't bought another shade. But texturewise I think this is my fave!

Wow! This is really nice lipstick. I was in Montreal over the weekend, and found Giorgio Armani cosmetics at Les Ailes de la Mode (GA is not in Toronto yet -- apparently, they're testing the Montreal market first). When the MA applied this lipstick, I could not believe the shine. It must be the shiniest lipstick I've ever seen. After trying on several, I finally decided on #17 - a pale but creamy pink. The packaging is nice, but nothing fantastic. In Canada, GA lipsticks retail for $29.
UPDATE: While still a nice lipstick, I'm not as excited about it as before. It does shine nicely, but it lasts for about 10 seconds before it needs to be re-applied. I'm taking off one point for that.

Awesome! The colors are lovely, and the one I loved so much was #11... perfect rosy color with an elegant golden sheen. My lips looked so nice! I was really pleased. Great wear, perfect feel. I need more!!!

I bought shade #17, which is a delicious warm nude pink with a hint of a toffee tone that I bet would work on many skintones. The formula is wonderful but works best on smooth well moisturized lips. A gel like creamy formula with a soft shine finish. No icky scent or taste. Really a high quality lipstick, although the wear time of this lipstick is less than the other formulas. I will likely buy another color. Retails for $22.50. An update: I also have #11 now, which is a rosy pink with a golden sheen. Think a brighter, richer Nars Galaxy Girl.

Armani's shine lipsticks are of great quality which come in many shades to choose from.
I highly recommend the Armani line.
