I don't think this product is horrible overall, but I did find it greasy! crazy greasy!! Idk maybe I used too much, but it was like grease city on my hands, bad!! I do like the light scent, and it does moisturize... i work in the food industry and wash my hands constantly, which makes them sooooooooo dry! this on my hands completely healed the rough skin, that patchy red look you get when you scrub too much, went away after 2 uses! I do like a different MUCH CHEAPER product much more that absorbs almost instantly, and its completely grease free, its amazing, i think ill do a review on that too if i already haven't! awesome stuff, but if you want something more scented and like a spot treatment, i would say this is a good one
I picked this and 3 other body butters up for a steal at Sephora during the end of the holidays. This was the first one I used, and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. The smell's very light and refreshing and the lotion itself goes on very thick and creamy, but it takes too long to absorb and when it finally does absorb, my skin feels drier for some reason. I haven't been impressed by Korres products in the past, and this unfortunately hasn't swayed my opinion. Glad I got this for a steal, because I won't be buying this again.
Sigh...I really wanted to like this product, but I'm going to have to return it. For the price, it is just not worth it. It doesn't smell anything like guava; instead, it has a really strong perfumey floral scent mixed with coconut, and I just can't stand it. Luckily, the smell doesn't last long.
I like that it isn't too greasy, and seems to absorb pretty quickly. However, it barely moisturizes my skin. Way too overpriced and ineffective.
I like Korres body butters a lot, but I'm somewhat bothered by the fact that they use formaldehyde-releasing preservatives in some of their products, including the body butters. I mostly choose to use natural and safe products, and the only reason I tried this was that I hadn't found a natural body cream that was moisturizing enough for my dry skin areas without breaking me out or giving me an allergic reaction. And I did find this really nice! It is easy to spread, not too thick (perhaps more of a cream than butter!), and leaves the skin soft and very well moisturized. The only reason I won't be buying this again is that I don't like the smell - for me it's too strong and very pungent and perfume-y. But I absolutely adore the Fig one, and will be purchasing that next. You really should smell these before buying, but then again I did that too, it was just different out of the bottle.
Although I won't buy it again I rated with 4. Why? Because it's a quality body butter. Not too thick, very hydrating and the fresh fruity mouth watering smell is long lasting but not artificial. The tube is convenient and hygienic.
Why I won't buy again you might ask. Well, it takes some time to absorb and my skin is not dry, so I wouldn't like to deal with it. Also I prefer my body lotions lightly scented most of the times.
But if you have a dry skin and you like the smell I think you won't regret buying this body butter.
Korres body butters are a great hydrating formula for my dry skin, especially in the winter. This is my favourite body butter scent from Korres (although I also enjoy the jasmin and fig scents) - the Korres "Guava" is sort of a green tropical fruity scent, and not too heavy for me (I like scents)! I think it's cheaper depending on where you buy it (just stocked up on a trip to Greece) so that's why I rated it cheap. Only sad news for me is that they seem to have discontinued the old pump bottle - all the body butters now seem to come in tubes, which is still hygienic and okay, but I preferred the pump. HAve used Korres body butters for some years now, and will keep repurchasing!
I love Korres products so I grabbed one of these body butters. It had a slightly strong scent, but didn't mind it. Only thing I disliked about it was that it was a little on the greasy side. It eventually went away, but I'm glad I only bought the 1.69 fl. oz. Not bad but not my favorite.
I love the body butters of Korres - they are rich like a cream, light-textured like a lotion, leave the skin dewy & soft, but not at all unbearably greasy like body butter packaged in tubs & jars (hello Body Shop).
Guava is one of the better fragrances (sweet & fruity) but I find the heavy guava scent eminating from my skin after I apply it to be overpowering, which makes it an unpleasant experience when all I want is for my skin to smell fresh & slightly tropical. Ultimately, the scent does fade, thankfully (but not quick enough for me).
The tube is big, so it should last me a good while. But when I finish it up (or pass it on to a family member halfway through), next time I'll try to find a milder scent (maybe Yoghurt? or Lemon Basil?). I would love it if Korres made an unscented version. The feeling this butter leaves on my skin is phenomenal.

I recieved this as a gift from a friend. She has amazing judgement! This lotion is thick but quickly absorbs into my skin and leaves a nice scent. I use it only on my hands and I have no idea why! It's great for daily use and leaves my hands so soft. I would buy it again if it was on sale...

This lotion is fantastic. It smells incredible; the light, fresh, fruity scent is perfect for summer & I love that the scent actually sticks around through the day. It's thick, but it absorbs right into your skin and moisturizes like a dream. I put it on right when I come out of the shower, and I always look forward to it because it makes my skin super soft. It's pricey, but it is worth it if you're looking for an awesome body lotion. continued >>
