My skin changes from combo, to normal, to dry. My biggest issue is the sensitivity. This has been working so well. The redness I usually get on my chin is gone. I use morning and night. I wear foundation and this gets all my makeup off. You just have to make sure to wash your face for at least a minute before rinsing off. Very happy with this.

I have very dry skin. Almost every cleanser that was not drying will dry out my skin. I compare this cleanser to the Korres 3n1 Emulsion cleanser but I like Ole Henriksen better because a little goes a long way, it's natural, removes makeup nicely, spreads better with water. The Korres one you need a lot, and it doesn't spread well. After many cream cleansers I'm happy with this one but I'm not blown away.

I love this cleanser because it is so gentle for my dry sensitive skin. All the Ole Henrikson products that I have tried are very good but I am not loyal. I have to try all the latest and greatest. It reminds me of Cetaphil facial cleanser with regard to how gentle it is.

Absolutely love this line and use so many products from it. Wanted to be able to find my hg cleanser but sadly all 3 cleanser including this Lotion sucked for me. I have normal clog prone skin and have found it impossible to find a mix of a cleanser the deep clean yet leaves skin feeling balanced and not tight. Gels don't work int heat reaosning for me as they overdry and strip over time so have been trying to find milk/cream cleanser that clean while elaving moisture. This was the closest to a good find I ahve tried to date as it actually spread and rubs in easily once mixed with water and doesn't feel like im rubbing and tugging lotion voer my face like every other cmilky cleanser I've tried. It washed off pretty decently leaving behind a slight super light moistureized film on my face but not as big of a film as the others. Because I lveod how natural this cleanser is, how lush it feels, adn how you get soo much product for your money I dealt with the slightly film feeling for a week since I used this as my morning cleanser and didn't need anything super strong. Well sadly as I hoped it wouldn't the film ended up clogging my pores and eventually my face didn't feel clean at all after my morning shower and throughout the day. I really wanted this to be my HG cream cleanser but sadly no. I've now moved on to Murad Renewing Cleansing Cream which applies like a creamy mousse, super rich and soft yet very light weight. Tiniest amount goes such a long way adn fianlly my skin is left baby smooth and super deep cleaned. Aside from the sickly buttery melon overkill of a sweet smell lol I have yet to find a cream cleanser that works as well as it does leaving my skin clean adn mositurized. Sadly Ole cannot get it right with his cleanser as the Lotion is too rich and clogs, while teh Aloe like most gels dries you out. Sample these before trying at Sephora to say the least.

This cleansing lotion is amazing! I have normal/dry skin and in the winter I can't use my 'on the go'-cleanser as it is too harsh for my skin in the cold weather. That is why I gave Apricot Cleansing Lotion a try and only after a few days my face felt much lighter and nowhere near as rough in the cold winter weather as the 'on the go'-cleanser does.
I need to say that I combine Apricot Cleansing Lotion with Balancing Cucumber face mist - and for my dry skin, this combination is perfect in the cold winter weather.

I Love this cleanser. I decided to try out other cleansers besides my beloved Decleor cleansing milk and this product here is a true gem. This cleanser here might even give the Decleor a run for it's money because it works soooooo good. The texture is just like soft butta! (for u girls who are not about the creamy milky cleansers i know that last statement sounded horrible lol). But yes..the texture is amazing. It smells like a very very faint apricot lotion smell. Not strong or irritating at all. Before i cleanse i use a face wipe and some eyemakeup remover to prep before cleansing (can't speak on how it may work with a full face of makeup) then i take a nice amount of this product ....firmly massage my face then wipe off with a dry washcloth ..then i reapeat again with a dollop of the product and remove this time with a dampen washcloth making sure to thourghly remove all of the product. It cleanses so well that i don't need to use any toner afterward. Even though i said i can't speak on how well it would remove a full face of makeup on it's own...i really think that it would do a great job at it because again the texture is so full and thick (not stiff nor watery). I say if your on the fence just try it out. The price is good for how much product your actually getting. And a plus is...it doesn't break me out at all. Try it!!!!
UPDATE: Obviously i thought i had found "the one". I still believe this product is good for people with normal skin but i did notice in my combination skin drying around my mouth a little. My eyelids became desensatized with every use, stiniging worse each time i used it. Also i noticed my skin looking a little on the clogged side after continued use. Idk...just try at your own skin risk.

I absolutely love this cleanser. It's great for my very sensetive skin. it does'n irritate my skin like most cleanser. It's just very mild and doesn't build a foam. My skin has less red parts and got a great glow. This is perfect for you with very sensetive/dry skin.

Positives: Works well on my combination skin. Does not cause me to breakout. My skin feels soft afterwards and it is not shiny. Even my boyfriend says it does not leave him oily (he also has combination skin) and he now insists we continue to get this. This is a very gentle product if you have sensitive skin.
Negatives: I did not wear that much makeup before so I thought this was doing a good job at removing all of the grime. I guess now that I wear mascara, I can see black residue even after working the cleanser in for a couple of minutes and using a sponge. I have to use toner to remove all traces of my eye makeup otherwise I just see it there on top of my pores. Maybe this is not an effective makeup remover but I can't help but wondering what else it is leaving behind. I will try DHC deep cleansing oil following the reviews on this site to remove my makeup and most of the dirt and then I might finish off with OIe as I think it does leave the skin feeling conditioned and not tight.

I'm so angry with myself for wasting my money on this. My skin type is dry and it can get very dry in the winter. I don't think this cleanser is for normal to dry skin, just normal skin. It made my skin feel tight and dry and sore and with the cucumber balancing toner the results were even worse.

This is a superb cleanser for my sensitive, rosacea skin. I'm onto my second bottle and won't consider using anything else. It removes makeup effortlessly and leaves my skin feeling soft with no tautness or irritation whatsoever. I'm so thankful that after years of using one product after an another in search of perfection, I have landed my ultimate cleanser at the age of 37. Thankyou, thankyou Ole! I cleanse in the shower, using a damp face washer to gently remove makeup. I tone afterwards and unlike with previous cleansers I have used, there are no remaining traces of makeup on the cotton pad so I'm confident that this lotion is gentle but thorough. I'm gradually moving over to solely using OH products and have been so impressed with everything I've tried apart from the eye makeup remover cleansing pads. I would encourage anyone with rosacea or dehydrated skin to give this cleanser a go - you won't regret it.

I love this! My skin is dry (not overly dry, but dry) and I use all the products Ole Henriksen recommends for normal-to-dry skin. They have made my skin so much better - no more dry spots, flaking, itchiness! If you have dry skin, this cleanser is definitely the way to go.

I really love the Ole Henriksen line, so it was with much disappointment that I had to stop using this cleanser. It feels wonderful, smells wonderful, but strangely left my skin drier than I would have liked. Then I kept breaking out in a strange rash, and my skin peeled around my nose. Swapping to another cleaner, the symptoms cleared up, only to reappear when I went back to the Ole cleanser. I must be allergic to something in it......

I bought it last summer. First one did moisture enough my skin. Then I bought one more bottle. But the second bottle dried out my skin. Then I read the ingredient list. Whoa. The two bottles had different things in. Even they were the same Ole Henriksen Apricot Cleansing Lotion.

Okay, first of all, WHY would you try this if you have oily skin? Don't. Just don't. It says on the label for DRY skin. If you want a gentle cleanser for your oily skin, use the On-The-Go.
That being said, if you have dry skin, this is lovely. It cleanses thoroughly without stripping, smells wonderfully of apricot and kukui, and leaves your skin radiant and babysoft. Ole is the man, yo.

I'm so sad; I really wanted to love this line as I found Ole to be a lovely and caring person. This particular cleanser is good for very dry or irritated skin. It's like emulsified oils and leaves your skin soft. It doesn't irritate the eyes and I like it for removing eye make-up. It doesn't smell too perfumy as many of his products do. I could not use this daily since it's so rich, but when I need a little gentle cleansing, this is great.

Although I have fairly oily skin, I bought this because I am looking for a more gentle cleanser. This wasn't exactly it. Instructions say to massage this on face and THEN use a damp sponge or cloth to activate cleansing properties. I can't say that it did a very good job of cleansing. I did experience some mild breakouts after using this PLUS it was slightly irritating. I would recommend looking for a less expensive mild cleanser rather than purchasing this.

I received a sample of this at Louis Boston (Boston, MA) and am rather impressed. I never used creamy lotion type cleansers before because I always had combination skin (more on the oily side in the T-zone area). Now, that I'm older, my going crazy skin (dry yet breaking out) has had any adverse reactions to this.
I used the cleanser in my nightly routine: I washed my face twice with this even though I don't wear foundation because I wanted to make sure I got all my Revlon Colorstay concealer off and then followed up with Remede Sweep. I find that this is the perfect alternate (like TokyoRose) to prevent my skin from drying out too much during the winter.
It really did remove all my makeup (mascara, blush, concealer, powder). My cotton ball soaked with toner had no trace of makeup on it! For those with oilier skin, I wouldn't use this unless you use a complexion sponge, brush or mix in some type of exfoliating element with the cleanser.
