My HG for sure! Doesn't look cakey. I use it during the day when I want a light coverage and also at night when I want to build it to a heavier coverage. Doesn't oxidize or turn orange like some other foundations and powders. Only thing I can complain about is that it is very pricey for not that much product. Doesn't last very long but then again I use this every day!
This is outstanding!! I have dry skin with fine lines, and this powder foundation looks great. I really like a lot of BareMinerals products, but I have to say that for me, the results are far and above either the BE original or Ready foundation. It's so easy to use -- just brush it on -- you don't need a special brush or technique and it will look good. The coverage is excellent and you can build on areas without looking cakey or powdery. It looks like a cream foundation on my skin and does not settle into lines and looks good out in the sun. It is not shiny, nor is it flat matte. It just looks like skin. Definitely HG for me. Being a powder, it's easier to travel with, and I like the feeling of nothing on my skin. This stuff is amazing. The downside is you can't see it in person unless you have a spa that sells it in your area. I am fair with cool undertones and bought Beige Light. It's perfect.
This is the best powder foundation, hands down. It gives great coverage(like mac) and it's triple milled mineral! I use this for an everyday look and for the late nights, all because you can control the coverage. I almost took off one star because I dropped it on the floor and it got broken. If they make it a little bit sturdier(like nars) then this is PERFECT!
This can give light or heavier coverage. When the MU sales lady applied this to me she gave me a quite heavy coverage (with the bronzer this looked awesome!), I had quite a few 'red spots' that hadn't faded yet and this nearly camouflaged perfectly them. I was amazed. It doesn't break me out either. A lot of ingredients to call this a 'mineral' powder but I don't care because this stuff is amazing. I love it. HG for sure (One of my mates that only wears Chanel thinks this stuff does an amazing job too. 1st time she saw me with it on she stopped, looked all over my face with a puzzled expression and said are you wearing m/u? What kind? What is it? Whats the brand?heh heh I just said oh it's just a Mineral Powder. She kept looking at me the whole time and skwirmed it out of me haha Now she is getting it too!! haha she wasn't being mean but for the last couple of months I have hardly worn m/u in an effort to get my skin looking good and this stuff ..yeh..it's great. For me anyway.) Wish it was cheaper. Is about 70. I'm very pale and natural light works for me.
I love GloMinerals pressed base so much more than Bare Escentuals loose base......this one stays packed in it's nice little case so no powder-y stuff all over the counter, your clothes, etc....when I used Bare Escentuals I was so irritated with the mess......GloMinerals is awesome because it has good coverage but not too heavy and it looks very natural....you can also control the coverage to your liking. I have to say I also love Jane Iredale pressed base as well but the coverage is much more sheer so it doesn't last as long and it is about $5.00 more than this is.
This was great!!
I've been looking for YEARS for something or a combo of something that does exactly this.
it is simple, quick, provides great coverage, and .... is just wonderful.
All i do is apply it in the morning with a wedge and i don't put ANY liquid or concealer on. i do put on sunscreen, but thats it. I have BAD acne, so covering up scars and such is a major thing for me.
this provides great coverage by itself. if one spot is really bad, simply put a little bit more makeup on that spot
It lasts and doesn't get clumpy on y our face. for example, bare minerals always got clumpy after like an hour on my face .. ew!
also it is all natural, so it is actually GOOD for you skin and I even wear it working out. it actually helps to heal!
It looks very natural and def. evens out skin tone.
it is 37 dollars, but the compact lasts a long time (about a month and a half), plus its the only thing i have to buy (no liquid or concealer) so it's TOTALLY worth it.
give it a try!
I have to say that this pressed base is by far the best I've tried, other than Jane Iredale. The glominerals is better for my drier skin than JI. It's not easy to find someone that can really match you to the perfect shade, so it's taken a few tries. I thought I would give it a shot and actually call the 1-800 number to ask someone there, and I got the nicest, most helpful makeup artist on the line. She finally told me that I needed to mix a couple shades together, Natural Light, which I was trying, but seemed a little "silvery" or something, and to mix that with Honey Light, and to just use a tiny bit. It was perfect, I was so happy. It looks like I have nothing on, just perfect skin, even in the natural light outside. In fact, as the day goes on, it looks better, it just melts into your skin and looks "creamy". I sometimes can get a little dry looking as the day goes on, but I also used it with their primer, which noone has reviewed here yet, and it is awesome, just makes you silky and smooth, and you don't have to use as much makeup, and it gives you a beautiful natural glow, and at my age, I need that! The makeup artist also said to pat your cheeks with a little moisturizer or balm, kind of what Bobbi Brown always says, and it really looked good, and felt more comfortable to my skin, especially during the cold weather. Also, wanted to say I found my perfect cream blush, that is not waxy, or hard to blend, and doesn't get in your pores, and that is glominerals cream blush in Guava. It is absolutely beautiful. It's like a mix of BB's Pale Pink, stila's Petunia cc, and Nars Penny Lane. And can I just say, that it lasts the entire day, and then some? The perfect flushed from within look, not greasy on, sets like a gel and I say it's perfection!
I have been using mineral make-ups for several years Bare-minerals and GloMinerals are my FAVS. GloMinerals pressed mineral/powder is great and works especially well if you have red tones such as rosacea. I also use this on my eye lids, which have a purple/red appearance, in a shade lighter than I use on my face. This gives me a more youthful look and cancels the discoloration completely. I have oily skin and medium to large pores. I love this stuff. If you find it to be to powdery looking after applying it will mix with your natural oils in a short amount of time or you can spritz with a little water for instant dewy. I use evian spritzer.
My favorite MMU! Pressed base is a semi-matte finish without the shininess or glitter associated with many mmus. It provides a great medium coverage without feeling heavy and lasts all day. It is a little pricey and mostly available online if you don't go to a derm or salon that carries it. I have used Glomineral products for 4 years now and highly recommend them.
This is a fabulous mineral foundation!! I love it. It can be a little pricey, so I really hunt for good deals on the internet to buy it. Would highly recommend this proudct. Beautiful finish, nice coverage.
