This cleanser cleanses well, smells great and doesn't dry my skin (even with my dry combo skin). The problem is I hate the texture. The gel is very thick and heavy. It doesn't dissolve with water as normal cleansers. The gel turns into some white gluey stuff on your face One more thing this gel doesn't work with clarisonic at all. The gel is too heavy and it sinks to the bottom of the bristles. It's a big bottle. I will finish it but won't buy again.

I like this cleaners. I use it in the morning or after the gym/both. Cleans well and doesnt strip. Its nice to use in morning to wake your skin up. I used a creamy cleanser at night to hydrate etc before bed though... Def recc this product and the size is huge.. lasts a long time.

Not my HG product (but that doesn't exist anymore - Thanks Bliss :( But this is a pretty good cleanser. Smells great, foams up nicely and cleans ALL the makeup off my face, including Clinique Cityblock. I was having trouble finding a cleanser that would wash it off, and this does the trick. I've been using for just over two weeks now and no break outs, and does not make my face extra oily. I would buy again, unless Bliss brings back the Steep Clean Cleanser...

I was somewhat disappointed in this product honestly. I had read so many good reviews about it, but then I went and bought it for myself. After a few days of use, I noticed a few small pimples forming. Although nothing major, I was hoping that it would make my skin clearer, which it did not do. However, it did seem to make my skin tone more even. I'm sure this cleanser works great for many people, but it just didn't do the job for me.

I'm new to this brand, but I am in love with this cleaner, not cheap, by any means, paid $24 for it, but I think it's definitely worth it. I get a glow from using this alone, I use it twice a day, as part of my skincare routine. I have combination skin, live in a very humid country, and have always been on the look out for the perfect cleanser, which wont strip my skin, leaving it feeling dry or causing breakouts. This cleanser smells nice and leaves my skin really radiant. I follow up using a non-alcohol toner by lancome, which just completes the routine. I love that it takes away all the makeup, even the eye makeup.

I have mixed feelings about this product. It does a good job of removing stubborn eye makeup and lip gloss, but is difficult to rinse off. I recommend using a good toner with this cleanser.

Love this as a part of my OH regimen. It doesn't make me feel dry, stripped, or tight afterwards just nice, clean, and balanced. Even though I have blemished/oily skin I opted for this instead of the aloe vera cleanser which is for oily/blemished skin since the aloe cleanser has sulfate in it. I'm glad I picked this because my skin feels clean and nourished. It's a foaming gel cleanser, but the gel doesn't have the slippery feel like most gels, it feels like its clinging to your skin which I like much better. Works well with my clarisonic.

This cleanser has a truly WONDERFUL fruity smell and when applying, my face felt fresh. Unfortunately I can only use this in the summer time, as it irritates my skin and makes it itch in the winter. My face definitely feels fresh after using, but only in summer time.

I bought this cleanser after reading several glowing reviews. At 29, I was beyond frustrated that I still stuggle with acne. I've tried every "system" on the market. ProActiv, Murad, Philosophy, Boscia, Mario Badescu, Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, MyChelle, etc etc. Some of them worked well on my acne but made my skin horribly dry and some of them didn't work at all. Buying this cleanser was the best thing I've done for my skin, as well as buying a Clarisonic, but that's another review.
I've been using this twice a day for about 2 or 3 weeks, and I have noticed a tremendous change in my skin. It's brighter and even toned, and have not had a single breakout since using this. My skin is soft and radiant. It is hard to tell, though if it is all due to this cleanser, or if it's also a result of using the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum, which also contains Vitamin C. I bought that at the same time and have been using it twice a day as well. Personally, I don't care which product is doing more, since they play very nice together, and the proof is on my face. They are indeed my dream team, as it would appear.
This cleanser smells amazing, foams well with my Clarisonic and deeply cleans and removes all makeup. It is not overly drying for my combination skin. A tiny bit goes a long way in creating a rich foamy lather, so this bottle will last a long time. That makes it a good value. To me, to have skin this pretty is priceless.
UPDATE 03/30/10: Sadly, this has stopped working for me. It actually started to make my face really dry and thus it broke out more. So, I guess not the best thing for me. I'll still keep the bottle, as most of it is left, and it may be good in the summer time when my face tends to get a little more oily. Or maybe I'll give it to my roommate. Or use it as a lovely smelling soap free body wash. It's too bad, because I really did like this. Oh well!! I still think it's a great product! continued >>

Ok - waited until I used this a couple of times before writing my review - I LOVE IT!! This actually got all my eye makeup off (including waterproof liner) as well as left my skin smooth and not all tight and dry. I have fine lines (some deeper) dry skin - and this cleanser is a dream!!

Love this cleanser from the smell to the size of it. Perfect for mornings and is refreshing on the skin. Doesn't dry your skin out and is very gentle. Love that it is all natural and it gives you lots of foam with little work. I have been using this product (twice daily) for 4 months and I'm not even a 1/5 way through the bottle. It can easily last you a year, and that's amazing for an all natural cleanser for this price.

My only complaint about this cleanser is that it is a bit drying. My skin is combination-normal cheeks but my t-zone is oily. This dries my cheeks out a bit. Besides that I love it. It deep cleans, clears and leaves my skin soft and smooth. It also smells great like an orange lollipop.

My HG cleanser - HANDS DOWN!!! I hope this never ever goes away because it's perfect. I've used so many brands of cleansers and i've never been satisfied until this. I've been from high end to drugstore, organic, and even proactive. Nothing is as consistent as this. It has a nice light scent, comes in a huge bottle, and keeps me looking radiant. It doesn't dry you out and doesn't cause bad reactions. I'm in love!

You know, I really like this stuff. I've been using it for maybe a month now and I think it is pretty great. I'm not sure how I got it... just one of those Sephora things where a SA recommended it and I bought it and I ended up really really liking it.
The smell is nice to me and I look forward to it. It cleans my pores and leaves my face looking great without being too harsh and drying. This impresses me so much. Before I had been using Philosophy's Purity and I felt like it just wasn't doing the trick and left behind a lot of clogged pores, etc... then I switched to something that was just too heavy for my skin but was magic (Skyn Iceland wash).. but now I've found my wonderful perfect medium. I use this day/night and it always makes my skin so nice. I am honestly surprised when I look in the mirror because my nose that has always had icky clogged pores is finally clean and looks like regular skin.

This is an excellent basic cleanser, suitable for any sort of skin from mildly dry to oily.
At 12 ounces for $30, it's also an excellent deal. How excellent? I finished my first bottle last week, and checked my Sephora purchase history to see that I bought the thing on April 22, 2008. That's nine straight months of day/night usage, plus whatever my boyfriend snagged for himself (probably a lot).
As has been stated before, this cleanser smells of oranges, and I actually liked the scent. The product itself is nothing fancy, but it cleans off your makeup and won't dry you out. It doesn't provide much of a lather, and be sure to apply it to an already wet face in order to spread the product evenly. If I hadn't just fallen in love with OH's African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser, I'd certainly be purchasing the Exhilarating Cleanser again.
Edit 06/20/09: I'm upping this from four lippies to five. I've switched back to the Exhilarating cleanser, as it lasts about twice as long as the Red Tea. I find it to be slightly less drying, as well. I didn't find any thrills on a plate with this product, but in the long run, I did find my HG.
Edit 12/07/09: I just wanted to report that this is still a hands-down, five-lippie holy grail. I tried using a sample of a cheaper cleanser for a few days, and broke out almost immediately. The aforementioned boyfriend saw that we were running low on On The Go, and asked that I pick up another bottle before we were completely out. Given that he and I have very different types of skin and we're both addicted to this product, I would recommend it to anyone. Slow burn true love.

Used a sample of this from sephora and have mixed feelings about it. I was going through a critically and abnormally dry skin spell so I am not sure if it would fair to properly critique it. Everything stung my skin that touched it and this cleanser was no different. I liked the texture of the gel and it didn't sting my eyes so I continued to use it. However, my skin did not feel exhilarated as the product claims. I also hated the fake, sweet, orange candy smell. It cleaned off my makeup with the help of a washcloth. It didn't do that superior of a job with eye makeup. There were minimal traces of makeup that came off my face with my toner. It isn't that bad of a cleanser it just isn't as good as the Neutrogena one step, which I find to be imperfect at times because it can be drying. I don't know how much this stuff costs or even if it comes in a better bottle than the sample, but if it costs more than your standard drugstore cleanser, it isn't worth it.
