I LOVE these butters. I usually buy body butter from The Body Shop (and I still do) but the Treehut butters are a good rival. I have the Brazillian Nut (my FAVE!, smells like chocolate), Almond Honey, Hawaian Kukui, and Coconut Lime. I like all the scents except Almond Honey, it smells nice at first but after a while it starts to smell like wax. So basically I like these because they smell great and the smell is long lasting, and they moisturize very well. They can be slighly sticky/waxy feeling (most apparent in the Almond Honey, not as bad in the other scents). If you dont like strong scents then this is not the butter for you. I will definitely repurchase the Hawaian Kukui and Brazillian Nut over and over again, and I can get them at Walmart for around $5!!

I love this cream. I have the shea body butter. Strong scentd, but that's what I love about it. My boyfreind even to uses it because he love the sweet smell. I only put this on at night during the winter months. It is thick so you have to wait 5-10 minutes before you get dress. The best part is it's cheap...6-$7 at Ulta.

This is a fantastic body butter for a low, low price.
I love the scent, but I will say it's quite strong. I have the shea butter one . . .
It does contain parabens, which I most certainly do not like - and it's hard to spread, and remains sticky on my skin for quite a while, but for those boring nights in, when you need a spa day - it's perfect. I also use it to prep my skin after exfoliating (also with the Tree Hut sugar scrub) for sunless tanner application.
If they'd remove the parabens, I would call this a HG - but until then, I'll just rate it a 4.

I got the brazilian nut shea body butter, it's great for moisturising, plus it's really cheap, but it's not so good in terms of other factors.
I use this on my heels and knee caps, it works well in moisturising and softening them. But this body butter is hard to spread, you need your skin moist. another thing is that it has this uber-strong (i cant emphasis that enough) smell of caramel, which i dont quite like.

Strongly scented - so if you don't like the scent you will HATE this. But basically, this is a good product with decent ingredients and a nice thick texture that is hydrating -but not tooo oily. It is a BIG tub, too.

I just discovered this. I can't believe how wonderful it smells. It's so moisturizing too - without being greasy. All for only around $6! The only downside (if you happen to care) is that it has parabens in it. I almost knocked off a point because I care about that. But with the nutty, chocolate scent, I just can't resist it. I put it on my feet last night and this morning they felt great. I use it on my skin after showering and my skin feels so soft and smells so yummy.
I've used products as expensive as Laura Mercier and even the Ojon - this is just as good for a fraction of the cost. Buy it!

I bought this first in the coconut lime and the smell was very tropical but a bit strong. I then went back and bought this and OMG I LOVE IT!! It makes me smell good enough to eat...without using perfume! It really is a caramel, chocolate, coffee smell. EDIT: Since I've started using safflower oil (see my review if interested) I no longer use this. However, my daughters absolutely love the smell and will slather it on themselves head to toe! This is an excellent purchase if you're a body butter kind of girl.

I was looking around Wal-Mart and found this Tree Hut line...Smelled all of the scents and this Brazilian Nut was by far my favorite. It reminds me of nutty, chocolate coffee. The body butter is awesome, kind of thick, not greasy, rubs in quick, smells really yummy! I was immediately addicted to the smell and had to buy the whole line, which was easy because all of the products are inexpensive. I have been using this everyday, I am about half way through the tub of butter and still love the product, especially the smell. For only $4-5 this is worth a try!

WOW I Love this stuff. smells awesome, really moisturizes and lasts. Try using a generous amount and then put on cotton gloves. Wake up in the morning with baby bottom soft hands.

I have the Shea Butter. The great smell lasts almost all day long as well as the moisturization. My skin is very dry in the winter, especially on my legs. This didn't perform too well during the winter months...I needed another product to help out...but this worked well in the spring. A tad too heavy for summer.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff! It is incredible! I first bought the coconut lime one, and I really loved that one as well, so I decided to try this. And I like this one even better! The smell is incredible. In the jar, it does smell like nuts and coffee-ish, but when I applied it, it was chocolate heaven! But not like a fake, strong chocolate. A delicious blend of chocolates and caramel, milk, and nuts. I want to eat it! It makes my skin really nice and smooth as well. I would give it 1000000000 if I could!

*Very nice product. Keep your skin really moist; you can feel it*
I have tried several well-known (and popular) brands; like E&C, this Nut Butter (Brazillian Nut) is really nice and well-balanced - not too light that you can't feel any different, and not too heavy that sticky. Compared to brand like E&C Tree, this Nut Butter is not leaving faking feel like E&C. Recommended!
Besides, price is awesome. continued >>

Love love love Brazilian Nut!! Went to my Ulta yesterday and they are no longer carrying it, will have to try Walmart according to other reviewers. This is the only thing that can soften my extremely dry feet in the winter. I didn't like the Coconut Lime or Mango. Husband loves it when I smell like chocolate/vanilla/whatever this scent is too!

This stuff smells good enough to eat and is super moisturizing. What else could a girl want? :) The packaging has also really improved and is much prettier/sophisticated than it used to be, IMHO. It's a *little* pricey for a drugstore brand, but it's still cheaper than the Body Shop, which is what I think Tree Hut is trying to copy. I love trying different brands, but I always have this on hand, and I keep going back to this. I'll definately continue to repurchase this for a long time. :)

Great consistency and wonderful smell-almost like chocolate, caramel, and coffee all rolled into one. The shea butter is so moisturizing.

i am surprised that i actually like this. i bought this because of the rave reviews, and figured, how can i go wrong? the first time i tried it, i hated it, the scent was not apealing to me, but smelled good in the jar. i don't know what happend, but i gave it another shot, and fell in love with it. i now, like the scent of it (i have it in Brazilian nut), and love the consistency of this butter. i am a true lotion-aholic. i apply lotion to my hands at least 20x a day, and this is the only one that i didn't need to reapply. it is an awesome long lasting moisturizer and sinks right in. this reminds me alot of TBS, but better, and for a fraction of the price. i would definately repurchase this!

I totally agree with everything Eris May has so eloquently described. I am so disgusted with this crap. I am using it up on the bottom of my feet only since I hate to waste my money. This along with Watkins Lemon cream don't hold a candle to BBW, L'Occitane or Curel. Save your $5.00 ladies.

I bought this based on a lot of people raving about it at Walmart. It was not very good. It was really waxy and not all that moisturizing. It rolled up in to little wax balls on my legs. If I put water on with it then I could get it to blend on my legs OK. It smelled really nice but the performance was nothing like all the raves. I should not complain too much since it was really cheap. But since it didn't work it still was a waste of money. I would not purchase this again.

Whoa... I am simply loving this butter. I have the shea nut butter. It smells so heavenly, like a tropical paradise. The tub is big, and you get so much for the little amount you are paying. I put some on my elbows, knees, and my hands before bed. Lately, I've been putting it everywhere because I simply cannot get enough of the smell! And the smell lasts!!! Anyway, my elbows and knees, which are usually dry and scaley, have become sooooo smooth and soft. Even my boyfriend noticed, and he loves the smell, too. Wow. I hope they never discontinue this because it is absolutely awesome. Better than a lot of other higher end butters out there. I guess the only complaint I have (albeit a small one) is I would prefer a tube instead of a jar (more sanitary), but since this is so thick and rich, it probably wouldn't work in a tube. Overall, I LOVE this stuff!!
