Camel is a great matte beige shadow to use as a base. Unfortunately, b/c it is a base shadow the small compact doesn't last very long. :( I find that increases the expense. I prefer a pot e/s like BB's Bone, since it opens up the eye a little more. However, when BB was not readily available in my old home town this was my staple shadow. I would still use it, if I hadn't given it to a friend.

Camel is a basic neutral highlighter or base shade -- a very light beige matte color.
