I wash my hands a lot, maybe at least 10xs a day. Anyhow, my hands are really, really, dry. You can even see some dry spots on the top of my hands. I tried a lot of random lotions, even the creme de corps, but you can still feel that my hands are a little "rough". After a lot of reviews, i decided to buy this hand lotion. HG for me now. Just after 2 days of use, my hands are so much softer, and i dont even see/feel the dryness on my hands that i had before. Even after i wash my hands, they still feel very very soft. Yes, its quite expensive, but i think its worth every penny. I bought the one in the 3.4 oz since it is the only one that comes in a tube, and i think it will last me a few months.

I bought this cream for my hands, but discovered it's great as a moisturizer for my very dry and sensitive facial skin.
It even works well under makeup.

This is an excellent cream. Very moisturizing. It's the only cream that works for my very dry hands. I love the texture and the fact that it is not overly scented which some hand creams are. I can hardly detect any fragrance at all.
Overall, Intensive Treatment and Moisturizer is a fantastic cream for us with dry skin. I especially love this in the winter time when my skin is drier than normal. I'd definitely repurchase. This might be my HG hand cream! continued >>

If your hands are dry, you need this. This works like no other. HG HG HG I could not get rid of the dry spots on my knuckles and tried all sorts of creams. This WORKS! Pricy so Ill just use it on my hands. No scent.

I live in Chicago and we are having one of the worst winters ever! 10 degrees below 0 is just a miserable temperature. My hands were so dry and red and scaly and my knuckles started cracking and bleeding. This was so painful and incredibly unattractive! L'Occitane shea butter hand cream was not cutting it. I was turned on to this hand cream and instantly it soothed my skin and took down some of the redness. I have been using this for several days now and the scaliness and dry feeling is soo much better! Thank you thank you kiehls for giving me my hands back!

This cream is very thick and very moisturizing, at least initially, but I really, really don't like the feeling it leaves on my hands. It's like a sort of dry, tacky feeling. I guess I'm not sure how to describe it, except to say I much, much prefer a greasier, slicker feeling in my handcreams. On the plus side, this definitely sinks in, but I don't feel like it moisturizes as well as a more oil-based, greasy cream would.

Was in a cast for 5 months and everytime had the cast was changed I was like Pigpen from the Peanuts, my bottom half was obscured by a huge dust cloud of dead white skin. Orthopod told me about this and when I saw the price I balked. After the cast came off I tried a million things (safflower oil, baby oil, shea butter) but I eventually bit the bullet and bought this and I am so so so glad I did. Within three days my skin was back to normal. This is great for when you skin is in a dry, cracked, distress state. It is too much for everyday use and it takes a while to sink in but I have used it again during the cold winter and there is nothing better.

This is the only thing that has EVER kept my feet from peeling and calouses. It is the BEST

I love this cream. It's the only thing that can moisturize my hands in our cold Canadian winter. I have two little kids and I wash my hands constantly so I just put some of this on before I go to sleep at night. It's terrific!

I suffer from extremely dry and sensitive skin in places and have, for most of my life, looked for a produt that can counteract this effect. I am in no way exagerating when I say that this product is amazing, the difference to my skin is noticeable after one application and over the following days becomes even more pronounced. I can't reccomend this highly enough.

i must say this moisturizer is just great for my hands. make them super soft. That's great. it's a thick and rich cream but absords quite quickly for a cream like that(5minutes). great for skin, too, because it's not greasy and doesnt make skin oily. it smells like nothing. i sunburnd:) and got very dry skin on my cheeks, so i needed a rich cream that i can use on body, too. this is a great lotion but my cheeks are still dry a bit after dree days or two i have used this cream on cheeks. but my cheeks are not so dry like for 2-3days but you must wait for a effect. after one time i use it on my hands the effect of great hands lasts 4days. that's awesome. i defintitey recommend this but only four lippies because you must wair a half week to see that your sunburn is away...but definitely better than nothing. i like this stuff!

Tried a sample, and I'll purchase a full size. Just a dab on areas that like a lot of rich moisture to soak in, (feet, elbows, etc.). Good, rich stuff.

Have sampled and not impressed. Save $$$ & use creams not lotions to have that moisturized feeling. Besides, who wants to to have on hand a product that in black and white typed "For Dry or Callused Areas". I suggest Burt's Bees (several natural products that are great and do not contain alcohol... I use the shea butter hand cream on my dry spots) or Lippman Collection's Rich Girl if you want SPF. Ohhh... and if the pumice stones are not working for your feet, you must try Diamacels #11 (not the regular one). I know... they cost an arm and a leg but they do the job and you will never want to see a pumice stone again! continued >>

I LOVE THIS STUFF!
I have heels and elbows that are so dry they can become painful and this product works wonders on them! And, it only takes a dab to do the job. I also love that it is fragrance free.
The only complaint I have is that when you puchase the 8oz size, it comes in a jar. Yuck ;P. Not very sanitary!
I should also stress the fact that this is really only for the driest of the dry. It is highly emollient and may not absorb fully.

I wish it came in a pump but we buy the big tube of it and it is just amazing.
It makes your skin feel so good and after a few uses your skin feels amazing.
You need to let it absorb before you get dressed though

this is THE hand cream for very dry cracked winter hands, elbows, knees or the feet. absorbs quickly and heals the dryness. I apply a thick layer before bedtime and this stuff works its magic overnight.this is essential for cold winters in new york!

I only have a sample of this stuff from Neiman Marcus, but I love it! You only need to use a little at a time, so it lasts forever. It works really wonderfully on dry skin, especially feet. I put this stuff on my feet at night and then put some socks on. In the morning, my skin is incredibly smooth and soft! After I finish my sample, I might just have to go out and buy the full size product.
