I Love this color. I had a bottle years ago that eventually got really thick and gloopy. This was before I knew you could thin them and so I ended up throwing it out. I know, I could kick myself. I had the worst trouble finding another bottle. I finally found one and will never again make that mistake. It's such a beautiful dark reddish brown with shimmer. It rivals for me China Glaze's Side-Saddle, which is more of a dark purplish brown. It doesn't dry as fast as China Glaze but I find that true with all of OPI's. It wears well though and looks good doing it.

This gorgeous burgundy color lasts forever. I love wine-colored polishes, and this one has a bit of shimmer. It is dark enough to look provocative on a night out, but is still office-appropriate.

Love this! I am a Burgundy fan. One of my most favorite nail polishes. I don't stick to Fall/Winter/Summer/Spring rules. I wear this year round when the mood strikes. Awesome color.

Love this color! One of the top ten things I look forward to wearing in the fall/winter.

My favorite burgundy nail polish ever! I usually wear this one in the fall and probably will again very soon. I brought this to a pedicure last october and loved it immediately! This one looks great with all the metallics and bronze/copper colors out there now...I have a pair of chunky bronze wedges that this color just complimented perfectly and wore the heck out them last fall! Definitely a keeper!

Gah, I love this color!! It's definitely in my top 5. Dark, rusty garnet red with shimmer. Application's great - even I can't screw it up. It's the perfect fall color - just like turning leaves.

Gorgeous maroon-burgundy with a copper shimmer. Easy application. I could even put it on my dominant hand's nails without making much of a mess. Great for date night! :)

I'm on my 2nd bottle of this now. It's a very nice dark burgundy, without much brown, just a darkened red shimmer. Very vampy and boudoir-ish.
EDIT: I don't really like this now. Maybe my skin colour has changed or something but this is just blah to me now. I used to really love this like 3 years ago, I don't know what happened.

My first meeting with OPI and I LOVE this color as well as the polish. Easy application and a FANTASTIC color! A rich, dark red with a bronze tint in the light! So elegant! It is a bit darker than what I expected (I use two applications) but nonetheless very beautiful! Recommend this to everyone, just about! :D

This color has got character! Very unique without being too weird, love it!
It was my very first OPI nail polish and I was so happy with it! I bought it because it matched a brownish-with-dark-red-accents dress of mine brilliantly. It's a very deep red brown with shimmer and copper/brown tones. Makes an amazing Christmas/Romance color and it matches better with my winter clothes.
I don't know about prices in the USA, but here in Belgium, a bottle of OPI costs 13.99 euros (about 18.7$). A bit too pricey for me, even for the good OPI quality, but I've discovered Ebay stores where they sell great OPI's at half the price so hooray:-)

Romeo & Joliet is a red with a deep coppery brown shimmer color. Actually, it's one of my very first OPI collections when in those day, I only had about 10. Now, I am embarrassed to tell how many I have got. But nevertheless, this color is not too deep red, not totally brown but I guess is somewhere in between. I put it on my nails and it's more red but you can still see the coppery brown. I normally use it in winter because it really is a nice warm winter color. However, I haven't made a visit for a while since then, I've so many different color to choose from. But if I want to look sultric, I will put it on again. continued >>

I LOVE this color! This is my shade of red that I absolutely love. I don't like bright ruby reds or shiny reds either, but this is what i'm looking for. It's got a nice coppery-brown undertone to it and that makes it a rusty red color. To me, it doesn't look like a dominant brown color. It's more red than brown and that's what i like, a nice blend. I actually found this shade because I was trying to color match Chanel's Tulipe Noir, but pay less. And this shade is pretty on spot. I couldn't even tell the difference! I've always wanted a dark red to wear all the time, and this will be IT!

I love this color.... I am all about dark shades. The slight shimmer to this is really nice. I have very short nails that I usually bite, but I am on a mission to grow them out, and this color looks nice on short nails.
It doesn't hurt that I live in a town called Joliet,IL which is right by Romeoville, IL so I LOVE the name.

I never buy nail polish, as I like variety (I have acrylics). I did buy this color however on a suggestion from a friend. I had wanted a really dark color. I love this color, it is dark but has the blood red undertone to it. My friend said it best when she said this color is really romantic. I am a Valentines baby and this is the perfect color for that holiday.

I have acrylic nails and I went the other day for a fill - in, knowing that I wanted to choose a dark, rich fall color this time instead of my usual standard french or OPI Bubble Bath manicure. My eyes went immediately to this shade, and it was love at first swipe!!!
I must admit I was nervous at first about this color because in my opinion, darker colors typically look best on very short nails. Mine are medium length, but once applied it looked beautiful on my nails! I would describe this polish as a deep burgundy, but when I look closely I see a golden brown undertone with reddish flecks...NOT GLITTER...it's very subtle but I think the understated sparkle is what made me crazy over this particular shade. Needless to say, I purchased a bottle before leaving the nail salon. I could honestly see this looking gorgeous on all nail lengths and skin tones. I love OPI nail polish, and as far as the way this polish holds up I really can't attest to that since I have artificial nails and polish stays put for weeks. I do use a clear top coat every other day to keep my nails looking "just done"- believe me that's all this shade needs to stay beautiful! Will continue using this polish every time I want beautiful, dramatic nails. I've had soo many compliments. I definitely recommend!!!!!

I love the name of this polish. This polish is one of my absolute favorites. It has a deep bronzy undertone. I love how this look on my caramel skin tone.

Back when I had acrylic nails I was so enamoured of this color...my manicurist gave me a bottle of it when she left that salon.
That was well over a decade ago and I still love this color.
It's funny but friends who wear it claim to see more of the brown in it and I see it as a deep, velvety burgundy color...with sparkly jewel dust all swirled through it. I had mentioned it was more burgundy on my tips and they all laughed -- until they saw it on my nails. Then...they agreed. Odd thing. *LOL*
I see this color and immediately think of a lavish gown made of the softest, dark red velvet...dusted with tiny bits of most precious metals which have swirled down from some cunning little machine made many centuries ago.
It is a stunning polish and especially good to wear during the holidays.
On me...the wear is good and the depth stays, along with the sparkle and glossiness, as long as I touch up with top-coat.

I can't help it, I'm in love with this polish. I love brown nail polish in general and have quite a few and this one is unique because of the red tones. It's overall more brown than red but you can definitely see the red tones in the brown in most lighting. Very interesting cherry brown vampy color that looks like Cherry wood finish, that's the best way I can describe it. Misa Chocolate Icing is supposedly a dupe but I can't confirm. Unfortunately the pro-wide brush makes this hard to apply neatly on short nails but the color is so pretty I can overlook it. ;p
