The scent is wonderful (like the shower gel). However, the lotion itself is not very hydrating. It is a very "thin" formula (not thick and creamy), and it doesn't keep my skin hydrated for long. I only feel "moisturized" within the first five to ten minutes of application. Soon after, my skin feels dry again. I have never had this problem with any other body lotion! It feels like the lotion kind of "evaporates" off your skin after initial application. Love the smell - but not buying this again.

i'm currently staying at a wonderful hotel in los angeles that gives "fresh" products as toiletries. this body lotion is great, smells wonderful, the perfect mix of sweet and fresh. cant speak as to the price/packaging but i would repurchase this if i ever needed a yummy body lotion. i tend to buy drugstore lotions but i would definately buy this as a treat! i will review the soy shampoo/pomegranate conditioner once i dry my hair!

I loooove the smell of the Sugar Lemon line. This lotion is very surprisingly more moisturizing than other lotion that I have used from other brands. I normally prefer body butters since they are the most moisturizing and I find most lotions to be pretty runny, but this one was rich and moisturized well without being greasy. The only gripe is the price though.

First of all, I don't understand why I'm reading reviews comparing this with "Pine Sole" - frankly, I have no idea where people even find the similarities between the two, as this gorgeous-smelling lotion is nothing like Pine Sole. That being said, go out and smell some of it, you'll see what a beautiful, fresh, citrusy scent it is, and the lotion itself is very moisturizing. I've had dry skin for as long as I can remember, and the only lotions/creams I use for body is this and Clarins. Both are superior quality and keep dry skin away. This product comes highly recommended - as do all Fresh products.

This smells exactly like lemon Pledge. And this was my 1st product introduction to this brand.

This has the same clean, tangy-sweet fragrance as the shower gel. The lotion is light but still manages to moisturize decently. It also works well to layer with the fragrance and shower gel.

I like the lotion itself, but the fragrance is too out there for me. I don't mind some lemon fragrances, but this one smell like pinesol to me. Other than that, it is a good lotion, it absorbs quickly and makes my hands feel very soft. However I think I'll stick with the same thing in the lychee fragrance.

I really wanted to like this product. I have the perfume, which some people detest but I love, so I was hoping for a similar scent. Unfortunately, it really does smell like Pledge/Pine Sol - not a very sexy or even feminine scent. I don't like a very heavy moisturizer, so this was nice for me - light and did it's job nicely. I just need to spend the rest of my day smelling like I've been cleaning house all day...

The scent of the lotion is more of what I was expecting from the perfume (which I despised). It's light and zesty, with a good balance between the sweet and tart, and I will enjoy the bottle while it lasts. I would not purchase again, however. As much as I love the scent, the lotion is not very rich. The lemon body oil will provide the extra moisturizing that the lotion doesn't. Give it a try!! It's great for people with dry skin. Once again, the product is pricey.

Great scent that actually has staying power, great to layer with the shower gel.

Yuck! This only gets two lippies because it does moisturize my hands nicely after washing without being either too dry or too greasy. Unfortunately, the smell is awful. It does not smell like lemons – fresh or otherwise – nor the nice smell of the Fresh Sugar fragrance. Instead, it smells suspiciously like the cleaning supplies and air sanitizers used in public bathrooms. It has an incredibly cheap, chemical smell that I cannot stand. Thank goodness I got this as a decant in a swap instead of spending money for it. Not recommended at all. (And I am a huge Fresh fan.)

This lotion was a pretty big disappointment after my initial success with the shower gel of the same scent. Unfortunately, the lotion does smell like Pledge or some other cleaning solution, while its shower counterpart does not. Nothing special with this product. I thought this would be a more combination smell of sugar and lemon but i mostly smell lemon. I feel very citrusy. I dont love the scent so i would not repurchase. The lotion is average. Not too thick or too thin and it doesnt leave a sticky or greasy feeling but the price is just too high!

Got a sample of this and I am in LOVE with the scent. Performs well but nothing amazing. Of course there are no exact knockoffs to my knowledge, which is sad because Fresh's prices are insane. I will not (unless I get crazy some day and want to splurge) buy this for that reason, but if it were half the price I would. There are other wonderful lotions that I can use for much less money, but again, the scent is divine and stays with you all day.

While fresh body lotions are fantastic for the skin -- the smell of this is too sweet. Other Freash products have a much nicer smell.

This was my very first Fresh product and I have to say that I keep coming back to this body lotion. I put it on for the first time before going to the movies and I couldn't stop smelling myself in the movies. At first, I wasn't sure that it was me that smelled that nice. One bottle has lasted a very long time. It has a lemon scent that has a powdery base (if that makes sense) and it softens the lemon scent a bit. This is definitely one of fave body lotions of all time!

My absolute favorite non-fragrance fragrance--too bad it isn't available as an EDP! (And, no, Sugar is not, unfortunately, the same scent.) UPDATE: Lemon Sugar EDP has been released--yay!
Reminds me of obscure flavors of Sanrio candies from my youth and happy places one only visits in dreams... Not a simple or overly sweet scent by any means, though--thoroughly unique. Texture is nice, too--rich and creamy but quickly-absorbing and non-greasy. continued >>

Now this, I liked. I was a little wary to use it because my sample of the Lemon Shower Gel grossed me out, but I didn't have any other lotion handy so I decided to try it. I am glad I did! It was very light, easy to blend, and most importantly did not irritate my skin. Usually after I shave I have to be VERY careful with what lotion I apply to my legs, because some will cause irritation, but this did not! It was very moisturizing without being greasy. The smell was ok, but still not what I expect when I think lemons, so I would probably look into the other scents if I were to purchase it.

This is a really nice lemon juice type smell. It smells very fresh and clean. My DH noticed it immediately after I walked in the room and commented on how nice it smells. The scent isnt overpowering but lasts fo hours. Leaves skin soft and smooth.
