This is a very beautiful duo. Lovely colours for spring and summer. Its one lavender colour and a sky blue colour. Im new to these brighter colours but they go on very sheer and can easily be layered for a more intense look. The shadows are well pigmented and not too shimmery. I will wear this with a litte bronzer and some gloss and feel fabulous. YSL has done it again!!!

I tried this duo the other day. I would say that the colors are much more vibrant and brighter than NARS elsa duo. A shimmery purple and a bright sky blue. Very beautiful, glide on wonderfully, buildable if you like more color. I took off one lipstick for the absolutely absurd price of like $42 or $43 which is way too much for any pair of eyeshadows. Bought Lancome's Drama and Strobe e/s instead. continued >>

This is a more pigmented version of Nars Elsa- almost a dead ringer, in fact. The duo consists of a sparkly violet infused with a slight blue shimmer, and a shimmery cornflower blue. So beautiful, and the pigment is true and very silky. Wonderful eyeshadow.

Love YSL eyeshadows. Like their sophisticated shimmering. This duo is a shimmery purple that shines green, and a shimmery blue. The reason I got this one is because it's really similar to NARS Elsa duo, but I much prefer the blue on the YSL one. The packaging is slick, with great sponge applicators. One applicator is narrow, allowing for eye-lining. YSL shadows are great (non-irritating, fine powder, gorgeous coloring), if only they can make them easier to be put into a palette instead of carrying them individually. It costs about $30 in Taiwan.

*update - ok, the colors are beautiful, but I sadly found that they actually crease and won't stay even on my lids like Stila's or NARS's. Will not buy this again. Such a pitty with such gorgeous coloring. continued >>
