Another cute product from STILA!! I love Stila for their packaging but heck, i really hate this traincase. Yes it's Large and of course expensive but why oh why do we need to pay $$$ for an impractical traincase. I like the idea of using the nylon as the cover but the cardboard/paper shelves??? gahh with that amount of $$$ i expect more than this & i can buy something sturdy and probably metal/aluminium traincase. continued >>

I thought this was really cute, so I bought it from eBay. I paid nearly $160CND for it once I was done with insur. and shipping. I just had to have it! I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use. The 2tier drawers are made out of cardboard and I'm scared to get it dirty. I have a larger metal one that is more sturdy and easy to clean (same price too). Also, it is on the smaller size to store a MUAer's collection. I really use it only to travel with which is great for me! It holds quite a bit, and has the perfect brush compartment in the front! You have to be very careful with this one, it's just too delicate.

Is it expensive...yes. Is it the sturdiest...no (although it hasn't been that bad). Is it yet ANOTHER Stila product that is overpriced for what you get....Yes! However, I really like mine..maybe because I got it as a gift and didn't have to pay the big $$. For it's size, it holds plenty and the front zipper flap hold my pencils and mesh pouch holds my lippies and there's another pouch in the lid. It is pretty deep, which is good and bad since it's black, it can be hard to dig around and find things. Although there isn't a ton of room, so it does limit my stash which is a good thing. Plus, I put my travel items in my Large Bloom bag, so between the two it's fine. I'm a Stila sucker and have been known to pay that much extra because of their cuteness and it's adorable, so I'm happy with it, even though I would have only purchased it myself at a pretty good discount. HOWEVER, for the sake of this review and if the "Stila" thing isn't the reason this would draw you in, you could definately find a better, more traditional traincase that would be more suitable.

No freakin' way! Not only is this train case not very large, but the cardboard will surely wear and tear easily! If having the brand and cute logo are important, those are about the only pluses I could see with this product.

I ordered this from Sephora and then returned it. I had nigtmares of this falling apart on me. For $100 I want something more sturdy. I have since found a much nicer train case at Nordstrom's for less that it very strong and sturdy and is big enough to hold my growing stash.

For the price, I expected this to be a lot more sturdy. I would think that over time this would start to fall apart.

I love stila, but this train case much like the smaller version is just cheeply made--get the sephora train case if you'd like durability and style.

It is *cute*, I'll give it that, but it's just so dark inside the case. And I was also having trouble getting/seeing stuff in the middle tier and the bottom section. I wasn't all that concerned about durability, because I won't be traveling with it. But, I was still shocked at how cheap the black cardboard looked, and I could visualize e/s dust being a problem in the near future, making it look grungy. And, I'm very neat with my makeup, too. It's sooo not worth $100, not even $85 (what I paid with a code). I returned mine. I've decided I would rather have a traincase I could see through, like maybe one of the Sephora Clear Train Cases.
