When I tried "Drama" in the store (on the back of my hand), I absolutely LOVED it; looked like a light grey colour with some pink and silver accents within the shimmer. Took it home, and it was like Halloween when I tried to blend it into the crease of my eye. I've had this happen with another darker BE shade; when I attempted to blend it with my eyeshadow brush, the shimmer disappeared and I was left with an awkward smear mark on my eye lid. I returned it.

This is by far my favorite eye shadow. On me it is a shimmery grey/taupe. The shimmer is appropriate for day or evening looks and there is no fallout. This sets my brown eyes off like no other shadow I own. It's perfect. At first glance, it seems pricey, but it lasts forever. I do find BE packaging annoying. Even with the new packaging I find BE products incredibly messy. I have to wipe down my vanity every time I use their shadow or liners. If they can't find a way to press their products, I guess I understand. However, if they insist upon this packaging because it is their "signature", I think they are only hurting their bottom line. I will continue to buy this shadow because I have yet to find a dupe, but I will not buy any other colors, and once I find a dupe in pressed form I won't be repurchasing Drama.

I am a huge fan of BE eye shadows. The packaging has been improved since many reviews here were written. The neat little screw top containers now have a so called screen or sifter, to reduce problems with the loose powder getting out of control.

Drama is a great color. It is a medium cool brown, with hints of pewter and moss, and lots of shimmer. A chameleon, it looks different depending what other colors you wear it with. You can play up the cool silvery & green tones or bring out its warmth as a brown.

It works as a liner on fair/light skin and as a crease color on many skin tones. Not being dark, i am not sure what its best use would be, but with its shimmer, it may work well on the eye lid.

I am not into the black / grey / silver so-called smoky eye; frankly, i am bored of it already on celebrities, and often it is heavy and overdone, even by professional MUAs. I think most of us have more imagination and create more flattering looks. I use Drama for definition on my hazel brown eyes with deep plummy brown for contour and greenish golden highlights. continued >>

I purchased mine at a BE store. I have never been a fan of brown e/s shades, but Drama has won me over. I think it is something of a chameleon color because it never seems to look exactly the same way on me. Sometimes I see bronze, other times I see silver. It's a little odd, but in a good way because it always looks good! I've worn it day and night. Think I may like it a tad more at night when I can really dial up the color. Drama has become my go to shade overnight. The first technically brown shade I really, really like!

Love this. Had to get it in Philly because they didn't have it anymore at two Sephoras in NYC. Had been eyeing for a couple of months - I love taupey-graphite-pewter colors. I tried some MUFE Aqua creams which to my chagrin stung my eyelids and smelled strongly of chemicals. Anyway, the pigmentation of Drama is excellent, the color is almost too fancy to wear every day but I'll save it for more special occasions.

This is my fav BE eyeshadow. It's a shimmery, sparkly light purple that makes for an amazing smokey eye (I use Drama for the light part of the eye color towards the inner eye and 1990's as the darker part on the outer eye). Anyways this eyeshadow just got DISCONTINUED so if you want to try it or if you're a lover of this shadow run don't walk to your nearest BE and ask if they have any left. Mine told me today they had none then they looked harder, found 10 and I bought 3. *whew* So gorgeous, pick it up while you still can, if you still can!!

I love this color! I am going to take the advice of the other reviewers and do a smokey eye with it. It is a greyish, purplish, taupey color that will look on almost anyone.

Drama is my favorite eyeshadow from bare minerals. It is a beautiful dark shimmering taupey brown color. It looks great in the crease, as a liner, or even all over the lid for a smokey eye look. It is really easy to blend.

Nice shimmery pigment, it's basically Smoke and Diamonds e/s from MAC in a pigment form, with a bit of subtle glitter. very nice color if you ask me, but same thing with S&D, can look beigey after a while if you dont have a cool-based base.
definitely an loose e/s worth getting from BE (and True Gold too!) continued >>

LOVE this color. I have been on a BE eyeshadow kick lately. I saw this in the boutique but purchased something else instead. After reading all of the reviews here I went back and purchased it and I am so glad that I did. I wore it today over Heart with Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner in black-mauve -- I think I have found my new favorite go-to combo.

Is it brown? Is it taupe? Is it grey?
Who cares!? It's so pretty and shimmery. I love this shadow as a night shadow, layered over my regular daytime colors. I feel like it's a very versatile color in that I can wear it with browns, blacks and greys. It's sort of like that belt you can wear with anything!
Overall: Highly pigmented, versatile color.

I picked this up on a whim in Sephora as it was one of their recommended products and I absolutely love it!!! I am very pale skinned with blue/green eyes and this is just the perfect shimmery taupe/brown!
I wore it last night on the lid with a darker brown in the crease and it looked gorgeous! This is definately one of my new favourites and if I ever run out would definately re-purchase!

This is one of my all time fave shadows! I have fair olive toned skin and it is perfect for creating the ultimate smokey eye. Seriously, everytime I wear it I get AT LEAST one compliment. The other great thing about it is that you can layer it over other dark colors and it definitely creates depth.

HG! HG! I bought this shade on a whim during a trip to my local BE store. It's a gorgeous shimmer taupe, and looks amazing as either a lid or crease colour. I love it foiled with BE Bare Skin e/s as a highlight. My new everyday look! I'll definitely repurchase if I ever run out.

Drama brings me fond memories of when I started discovering makeup. My best friend used this color on me when she was still working at Bare Escentuals and I instantly loved it. I am about NC 27-30, Asian, and the color works well. The amount that is given in the jar will last a very very long time. The only downside is that the jar doesn't have a sifter, so you must be very careful when handling it or opening and closing it.

This is the most random color I've purchased. A mix between dark sand, pewter, gray and sable. Blends easily with most other colors. Love to wear this often, looks nice for day and kicks ass at night if you wet your brush first. Smudge out some black/charcoal eyeliner with this and it's a no-brainer smokey eye. This is the one color I will ALWAYS go to when I can't decide how to do my eyes.

Wow ok wow is all I have to say on this. With that in mind this is not for the faint of heart as it is a glitter not a glimmer! :) It is one of those products that you can see the glitter flashes when you blink your eyes. I do this one very naturally as it is so glittery. I prepare my lid with painterly paint pot, BB Bone eyeshadow and rock this baby in the crease. I always take a kabuki brush and smush out the lines as well as the excess glitter when I am done----ALWAYS do your eyes first when working this as there is a lot of fall out and you must remove the excess otherwise your face will be a mess. I then do a matte face, black mascara (liner if I am going out in Black) and a neutral lipstick. I get comments on this color all the time and those I work with also love it. They call it the "eye pop color" The only thing I dislike about this product is the fact that it came with no sifter or anything. I wish there was a way to make this less messy of a product. Also, it seems the jars leak if carried in a makeup bag and the tops attract dust and other things like a magnet Overall, I love it and feel that it is a good product but not for a makeup newbie. I would recommend all to get a sample and see if it works for them. There are many different colored flecks in this and with different bases you can get different looks. Very fun indeed
