A good moisturizing smooth bar of soap. It smells fresh and herbal, but otherwise nothing special.

I would buy this again if it had more of a citrus smell. It was difficult to discern the odor in the package, b/c it's wrapped in cellophane and then in the cardboard box. This scent could be construed as slightly masculine or unisex, others have said, woodsy. It doesn't really linger though.
It is a large, oval golden-color bar - quite pretty, but large and watch out, very slippery in the shower. Very moisturizing.

I like this soap a lot. I bought it for my boyfriend who only uses bar soaps and I've been using it too. It's gentle, lathers very well and best of all - makes your bathroom smell just like aveda shop for hours and hours! The scent doesn't last on the skin, however, which I like as I use lotions and perfume afterwards and I don't want all of that to clash. I also love the smooth oval shape and pearly gold color. It costs $10 a bar which I think it's worth, it given it's decent size.

I really enjoy using this soap. Like other reviews have stated this has a distinct earthy/musky smell, kinda reminds me of smelling a garden after it has rained. (I know that sounds weird, but that is a good smell to me). This bar lathers quickly and effortlessly, rinses off with no residue. Has never dried out my skin, nor have I had any problems with irritation.

This is a mild and wonderful earthy-smelling soap. It is very gentle on the skin, moisturizes, and doesn't leave that sticky/squeeky feeling behind after it's rinsed off. I will re-purchase.

This is a hard-milled, beige-colored, slightly shimmery looking oval soap. The smell is that of a gentle musk/earthy tone; it's "aveda-y" without being overwhelming. There's something about the smell that's very masculine to me, however, that doesn't detract from it at all. The soap lasted about 2 1/2 weeks with me and my boyfriend both using it. It did make the soapdish a little scummy and that's my only tiny complaint. This soap is neither moisturizing or drying and it's subtle smell doesn't stick around, which is nice because it doesn't interfere with any other scents one might put on later.

A great all around soap. Works better than my former HG, Dove, on my sensitive skin. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, the scent is great but doesn't stick around. Otherwise, this is a great, all around gentle soap.

This bar of soap is very nice, but it is still a bar of soap. The scent is very pleasant but wears off almost immediately.

Love the smell! Not overpowering, almost masculine and very spicy/woodsy. I would definately repurchase.

This bath bar is so nice! Great lather, non-irritating to skin, great scent--but not too much to clash with any fragrance you may want to wear after the shower.
