I bought this because of the Kim K hype. I love her nude lip look and even though our skintones are different, I still wanted to try it. This is definitely too warm for me, but I do like it with MAC's Angel, since Angel is very cool. The combination does create a flattering nude lip, so all is not lost!

I purchased this based on reviews that said it was a lighter version of Spice. I would call it more of a mid toned lip liner because it has quite a strong pigmentation. Its more of a warm/neutral color, which looks a little strange with my skin tone but maybe I need to get used to it. It's a fun color and I find it goes beautifully with Naked Paris lipstick, which pinkens it up a little and adds pretty sparkle. The formula is creamy and easy to apply while still long lasting.
Update: After getting used to this, I really like it. Not sure if I'd purchase it again, though... so I'll keep it at no ;).

I just LOVE MAC lip liners! They are just perfect in every way! I was using Spice cuz it was recommended to me by a MUA...but then for a nude look...I needed something that was sheer enough to mix with my original lip colour but at the same tym able to cover the pigmentation on the outer rim of my lips...this is PERFECT! :D I am in love with this liner and will use it forever! NC 43/ BB Honey indian chick here! The consistency is creamy yet the pencil is easy to sharpen! Girls, get this now!!! And a back up in case it gets d/cd! ;)

I love this lipliner for my nude lipsticks such as creme d'nude and the lady gaga viva glam 2. To me it is a better nude lipliner than subculture or oak for a neutral lip.

Pretty nude color lip liner. I use this one all the time with any color I wear. One of my staple lip liners!

this is a pink/nude/brownish liner which works with most nude/beige/pink tones -- it is one of my favorites.
since I scored a few BBQ's... I am kind of putting this to the side..lol.
but all in all a great pencil.

MAC Stripdown --Oh oh oh! It's my HG lip liner for all my nude lip looks (and I have a lot! lol). I'd say Stripdown was a light-medium shade of "fleshy-toasty-beige brown". The "fleshy" part of this brown gives it just enough life to keep it from loioking "dirty" against my olive skin. This liner seems pinker brown at times, and more peach at other times -- it's like magic. haha! No matter whether I'm wearing a cool, neutral, or warm toned nude lip look, MAC Stripdown just fits the bill always. MAC Oak, on the other hand, just looked really flat against my skintone, whether I was without a tan (light olive), or faux tanned. I think MAC Oak is missing that "fleshy" tone to the brown -- it's more of a flat yellow-brown shade and just looks a bit off against my olive toned skin. Stripdown is just perfect, however! I hope (pray!!!) that MAC never discontinues this shade (but I have little faith in MAC, ugh).

My HG liner for nude/peach/pink lips. Purchased many times. Beautiful pink/brown liner that goes w/all pink and peach nude colors. LOVE IT! FYI-Asian NC20-30.

This is another great product from Mac but I still feel their lip liners are overpriced. This is a nude beige shade on my lips. I don't think I will repurchase this shade because I don't find this is a unique shade.

I am on my 4th pencil! I love this wear it every single day! It works with most lispticks I own except for reds. Looks amazing and I have tried hundreds (not exaggerating) of lipliners and I will never change from this one. I may alternate with oak on occasion, but by far this is the most amazing, especially with pinks and nudes!

I love lip liners and I think MAC has some of the best I've tried. I like the earthy peachy/tan shade of this and use it as the base of many of my lip looks. This shade is neutral enough to use with some gloss during the day or pair with a nude/pink lip at night for some serious sex appeal!

I love this lipliner. I only own and use two lip liners and this is one of them. I really don't need any others. The color doesn't match my skintone exactly but it's such a nice shade of brown/pink that it doesn't make my mouth look outlined. It just makes my lips look defined and plumped. Fill with gloss, and your done.

I absolutely love this l/l! I used to use spice but for some reason it goes pinkish/purple on me now. I wanted something that would neutralize my lips so that I could wear nude lipsticks. This was perfect. I could wear it on its own, with lipstick or gloss or even all 3. It really helps the staying power of my lip products. I also really adore the texture of the Mac lipliners I've tried. They don't break and are easy to put on. I don't find that I'm tugging at it at all.

overall great lip pencil. i have VERY pigmented lips and i like to use this lip liner to fill in my lips for a brown/nude colour. it's smooth and doesnt really tug on my lips but for the price of a mac lip pencil ($15.50CAD) i can find a great dupe from ANNABELLE COSMETICS (canadian brand) for $3-5CAD. they're lip liners are very comparable to mac ones. especially in demure and spice .
annabelle lip liner in spice = mac lip pencil in spice
annabelle lip liner demure/nutmeg = mac lip pencil stripdown
