My skin feels like new after just one (very thorough) use. I've always had issues with uneven skin tone so I went looking for a good exfoliator and honestly I'm very happy I chose this one. Works great! I woke up the next morning and looked at my legs like "These cannot be my legs!" cause they looked so much more even than ever. Even my knees seemed to be a more even skin tone and smoother than ever. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a body exfoliator.
By far the best body exfoliator out there! Leaves skin tingly fresh, and smooth as silk. Highly recommend this!
All I'm going to say is I got a sample of this some ten years ago and I'm still using it! I don't use it ALL the time so the largest container they sell is what I buy and it lasts forever! LOL I love it and everybody comments on my skin. I treat this as I do a deep conditioner for hair: 2-3 times a week. Sometimes only once a week!
Anyway, I could go on and on, but I won't.
If oyu are on the fence, just get it! It's fabulous! :D
I don't like Clinique face/make-up products, but they do make very decent body stuff.
This Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliating Cream is a "No-Frill" product. It doesn't contain fragrance, no fancy ingrediants, no delicated package. But in exchange... this product only cost $24 and it last forever. You only need to exfoliate your body once or maximum twice per week. So one jar will last you around a year!
It really make my skin smoother... you can even scrub dead-skin off your foot. And it made my skin absort body-lotions much easier!
Great stuff and I will definitely repurchase unless I want something more "fancy"!
Good but I have an exfoliater that I got from a supermarket that is every bit as good! Plus the supermarket brand came in a tube - I hate constantly sticking my hands into creams and beauty products.
this one is mild, smooth , not irritating and also works vey well.
I'm gonna stick to this one for a long time.
i like the feeling of smoothing and mild on my skin even when i rub it so hard. i give 4 lippies instead of 5 because, even though this works well as much as brown sugar does.. i tried it and compared it with brown sugar which is my favorite exfoliator. but using brown sugar in a shower is kind of cumbersome, so i 'm gonna keep using this product
I have a skin problem on the tops of my arms (keratosis pilaris? it's common, but it really beings my self confidence down esspecially when I want to be in strappy tops!) and this is my HG. I received it recently for my birthday after trying everything. Previously I was using Buffy from Lush, which managed to keep the hideous red bumps at bay and leave me lovely and smooth, but still a little red and the effects did not last between showers.
This removes the bumps and the redness! Honestly, if you have something similar to me (red bumps, patchiness, annoying!) check this out! It's a little pricey but I only use it on my arms and I'd repurchase it till it's gone!
I continue to use my beloved buffy all over my body as it makes me so silky smooth, but this is my HG for my keratosis pilaris
I can't imagine not having this lovely jar in my shower!
It has a lovely thick, creamy texture and a little does go a long way. The scrub is very fine, so it is not harsh (I am not a fan of sugar or salt scrubs with large grains---ouch!).
The smell is lovely and minty, and the mint comes through wonderfully when applied. It is very relaxing and soothing to sore muscles as well!
Will always re-buy. Especially cause the hubby can't keep out of it!
I got this as part of my gratis when I worked for Clinique. My counter manager raved about how great it was so since I couldn't sample it from the counter, I decided to make sure I get this when my gratis came in.
I had sniffed it at work and wasn't too terribly fond of the smell (I'm a very foody girl) but my counter manager told me I have to try it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. I LOVE the texture and how it goes on in the shower. I like how it's very gentle because there isn't a lot of hard or coarse grains in it compared to others I have used. I could safely use this every day if I wanted to.
Not a fan of the smell but I think this would be great in the summer as it does have a cooling effect. It smells a little too medicinal to me but that's because I generally buy only foody or fruity scrubs.
I don't think I would buy this out of my own money but would definitely order it again for gratis as I do like it. It's a huge tub and will last forever. Packaging is fine for me as all of my scrubs come in jars. A tube would definitely be easier to handle but you get more for your money with the tub.
I know Clinique is all fragrance free and what-not but I wish they would help this smell a little less medicinal. Great product, though!
I tried this as my last alternative to all the other sugar/salt super oily scrubs. Immediately after rinsing it left my skin soft, but not baby soft (maybe my expectations were too high!). I can feel though my skin super clear and this is something I was looking after and wasn't able to find in other scrubs (L'Occitane, Body Shop etc.). I could feel the real difference only after I applied my favorite moisturizer, Baby Oil, my skin was indeed super soft. So I guess that it is an effective scrub, but maybe a little bit drying and I definitely need a moisturizer afterwards to experience really smooth supple skin. Despite what the SA said and my sensitive skin, I didn't find it harsh or irritating at all. The grains are small and they don't melt, so you need a little amount. Also, I can rinse it off easily without making a mess. However, I don't like the menthol smell and the cooling feeling, which isn't appealing to me at all in the winter. I admit that it is not so pleasant to use - I prefer fruity scents- and compared to salt-sugar scrubs it feels too "chemical" for me, I feel that I am using a lab product, whereas L'Occitane for instance was more of a "natural" product (but I guess I can't have everything...). Overall, it meets my needs and I will repurchase. I paid 30 euros here and the amount I get lasts me for a long time.
