I've tried lots of similar type of skin-tone-colored pencils for lining eyes and other small features on my face like Laura Gellar, Stila, Tarte, etc. Thiis one by Mally is by far the best one. It doesnt budge, smudge off, discolor, irritate my sensitive eyes, and it goes well with my skintone (i have this pencil n "Fair"). I recommend it and would buy again!

I tried this on a whim. I am very pleased with the texture and how easy it glides on. Doesn't turn color on me nor does it flake. Perfect coverage. If I didn't have so many freckles, I wouldn't have to use a concealer. Love love!

This Foundation goes on well, has a nice light feel but good coverage. The pump doesn't get clogged and is easy to use. The only negative in my opinion is that the bottle is pink metallic and you cannot see when your running low on product.

Overall, this product is very good. The texture is smooth, the coverage is a medium/full. I have oily, acne prone, 47 year old skin. It does lack SPF, though, which is quite surprising since most foundations nowadays have at least a SPF of 15. My only qualm would be the color. I picked LIGHT and it was super dark looking. I'd say it was prob a med/med dark. I might have to pick up the FAIR and mix it. I'm normally a LIGHT in most foundations, FIJI in NARS. and a NC 20-25 in MAC. Watch out when dispensing, it splatters a bit.

This foundation provides about a medium to full coverage. The Color matches my skin-tone well and is the perfect coverage for my acne prone- combination skin. Another thing i really like about it is it doesn't make my face oily or dry like most other foundations. Im not sure if the foundation is causing me to break out in a few spots or my diet is poor but i have recently noticed a small breakout while using this. Other than that my only complaint is that the pump seems really cheap and sometimes it takes a few pumps to get a good amount of liquid out.

Bit of background: 42, ruddy Irish skin, dry to combination with some fine lines cropping up here and there. My complexion has some rashes here and there from either autoimmune disease or the treatment for it, who knows.. Anyway, I'm consistently on the lookout for foundation with enough but not TOO much coverage, yellow based to counteract redness and nothing that will dehydrate my skin even further. Oh, and skin tone match is nice as well. I divide my time on either side of the east coast (ME and FL) so I need varying shades depending where I am; in FL I am more NC 25, in the frozen tundra, NC 20 ish. I am in FL now and a bit darker, so medium light is a good match. This formula is very yellow based, so keep that in mind if you are more cool toned ( may make you look sallow.) Additionally this might not be suitable for oily skin, but for mine it is close to perfect; gives me hydration and a bit of a glow. It lasts all day, doesn't smudge all over, and is generally great for my needs. Only downfall is the price: $40, ouch! I found the cream compact version better for my complexion, but it was $40 for .35 oz whereas the pump bottle is the same cost for 1.0 oz. Additionally there were only few options for shades ( cream) and more available for liquid. I purchased this at Ulta and tried it on for a day before buying. If you're not certain what shade you are I recommend trying the testers first as the shades can really vary.

I was using Merle Norman Lasting Foundation. When I first bought it, I absolutely loved it. But the longer I used it, the less I liked it. So I was poking around Ulta a couple weeks ago. This is a foundation I've wanted to try for a long time, so I thought "why not?" So I bought it. Boy, I am glad I did. This foundation is AMAZING! The texture of this foundation is a lot different from most other full-coverage foundations. I've found that full-coverage foundations tend to be thick, and can get cakey very easily. This one is much lighter, it's almost like a gel. It goes on very easy and a little goes a long way. It covers everything I want covered, without looking heavy, cakey, or fake. The staying power is great. It easily lasts 8 hours, and then some. It also doesn't transfer, which I like. Once you have it on, you can pretty much forget about it. It feels so light, you forget you even have it on. The one complaint I have about this product is the pump. I like that it has one, but this one could be better. It seems kind of flimsy to me. But overall, this is a great product that I highly recommend.

I'll say first that I have a combination of oily/dehydrated skin. This foundation did not work for me, but I think more that it was just not for my skin. It's probably better for normal to dry skin types. On initial application it looked nice. In certain light it looked nice and smooth. However, ultimately it looked too heavy and seemed to accent my pores.

Hold the phone! I completely agree with the other review of this foundation. I was prepared to not like it, but besides its iffy pump applicator, I can't quibble with anything about this product. (Alright- one other thing: its beautiful pink opaque tube prevents you from seeing exactly how much is left in the 1 oz. cylinder.) I am a neutral/yellow-based skin tone, on the pale side (think NC15). The shade Fair is a perfect match in this foundation for me. The shade range is not extensive which might be problematic for some. It blends like a dream and imparts buildable coverage that is at least medium on 1st application. I do not apply more, choosing to conceal after to target any specific areas, but was taken aback initially on what a good result I got with its first use. True to a liquid, its consistency is runny, so I was not expecting its very neutralizing coverage. I don't have a lot of redness to conceal, but prefer to start with a truly blank canvas. Over primer (either LG Spackle or BE PrimeTime) I apply one pump of liquid with my fingers, making sure to work it in, as with any other foundation product. I haven't experienced any oxidation or fading issues and typically apply it in the a.m. for a work day but do not take it with me for touch-ups. I also like to use a setting powder (lightly) and this may help to boost its longevity. The finish is neither dewy nor dry appearing and I am very very happy with the look and result I am getting. In early December I purchased another bottle as I now never want to risk running out. It retails on QVC and/or Mally's site for $40.00. (At the time I purchased it there was a sale with free shipping deal which I couldn't pass up.) This is the foundation I now reach for when I want a flawless all-day finish that I know won't let me down. Ultimate Performance Pro is as good as -or better- than advertised; and while it hasn't knocked my other two liquids completely out of use, it is now my clear favorite. Very impressed; I it highly recommend to anyone who wants to try a great quality liquid foundation.
