Whew...the name of these pencils is quite a mouthful! And while they are billed as liners, these are just as effective as shadows (Sephora's site says this in the "description" even though they call them liners). This is simply a "copy and paste" of the review of this pencil which I already wrote in the "eye liners" section:
Time to create reviews for the various colours of this wonderful jumbo pencil from Sephora. While it's titled "eyeliner" even at Sephora's site, these chubby pencils work well as cream eye shadows in stick form or as eye shadow bases. I have several of these now and 04-Taupe is my newest purchase. It's a shimmery slightly pink-toned light taupe and it is so versatile and wearable. The beauty of these shadow/liner pencils is that they have all the long wear and creaseless qualities of UD's 24/7 Shadow pencils but they remain creamy and blendable for a short time after applying, so you can blend them out without having to yank and rub at your lids to do so. And these are so affordable and come in a terrific array of colours. I think this is the 4th one I've purchased and every one is awesome. I love this pencil all on its own for a "no makeup" quick eye look and also as a base under shadows that don't show up especially well on their own (Bobbi Brown Heather Mauve and Too Face Sugar Walls, to name just 2; even MAC Shale takes on a more noticeable presence when applied on top of this Taupe pencil). Love these pencils generally and this colour in particular!
