I read all the awesome reviews on here and my sister had the same to say about this product, so I decided to try it. HUGE MISTAKE! It made me bring out with huge, painful pimples. I kept using it thinking maybe this was a cleansing stage, but nope.. I used it for 3 or 4 months and it never changed. I now use regular cleanser and my bacne is getting better!

So I bought this body wash last summer but after a few uses, it just broke my back out more and dried my skin out so I stopped. Fast forward to feb 2013 and I picked this baby up again and used it every night in the shower along with my alpha hydrox lotion (check out my review for that too AWESOME) and now I can honestly say I love this body wash! The smell is nice, it makes me feel squeaky clean and it has seriously helped with my chest and back acne. I had moderate back acne and mild chest acne, I now have no chest or back acne at all just some hyperpigmentation that I'm tryna fade with other things so I'm hoping in another few months, my back will be totally clear marks and all! Oh yeah, the only downside to this is that I have to order it online via amazon coz its not available in any stores in the UK but I am so happy I discovered this regardless! Thank u makeupalley! X

I was reluctant to try this product as I likened it to the face wash version of this that had left my skin angry red and dry.
So upon reading good reviews on here I gave this a whirl. After nearly a week of using this, I am happy to report that I have had no further breakouts with this. It seems to be drying/clearing up present breakouts on my back.(I might add that my back breakouts are fairly minor but a concern nonetheless.)
I will update this with further use, as I hope it continues to work for me.
P.S. The smell is nothing at all. If you are treating your skin for a condition, you shouldn't be messing around with anything that contains additives for fragrance value. Update: After using this for a few weeks, I am left disappointed. It has minimized breakouts but not entirely cleared them up, plus it left my skin very dry. I have since gone back to using the Cetaphil gentle cleansing bar and that seems to be doing a better job without the dryness.

This is without a doubt the best product I have got for spots on my back and chest! I can't recommend it highly enough if you have trouble with those annoying spots on your back, shoulders and chest. Mine have cleared up completely in a few short months of using it. I've even started using it on my face and I've seen a huge improvement. It is also brilliant at clearing up red spots and razor bumps on my legs too. Because it has cleared up my spots I've also had a boost in confidence and I am able to wear strappy tops in the summer! :) The bottle has lasted me ages, I am still on my first bottle and I bought it a year ago. Unfortunately I can't buy it instore so I have to order it online from the US.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and this stuff has shown me better results than the body spray that I have been using for months (which btw cost me about 40 bucks). My biggest concern are the breakouts I get on my back. This body wash seems to work fairly well, but it hasn't cleared everything up. I will continue to use and see what kind of results I get. Also, other reviewers have complained about the smell being very medicinal and what not...but I think it smells fairly nice and fresh.

I am sooooooooooooooo happy with this product! It is unbelievable what it has done for my skin. For the longest time I had very bad back acne and after using this product for just two days I saw an immediate difference in my skin. The redness and irritation on my back had completely gone away (mind you, the pimples themselves were still present, they just weren't irritated.) I saw complete results within a few weeks of using the product. I use this product once a day in the shower with a back brush on my back, chest, shoulders and neck and it has never failed to keep my acne away. Thank you so much Neutrogena for such a great product!!

It's been awhile since i've purchased this product,so they may have changed the ingredients by now, but when i did use this product i saw no results, it's like it did nothing for me,it also didnt make anything worse ether thankfully.
the only good think about this product is that i like the warm orangey glow-y clear color of the product , and it smells ok,and it's not harsh on the body.

packaging: it could have been better,to bad it's not a pump bottle, it's just a normal squeezy bottle,they should also put grips on the bottle i remember it slipping out of my hand while i used it.

the reason i mark this so low is because it didnt improve my back at the time... any cheap shower gel could have done the same thing as this.

it was about 7.80 Canadian $ which is expensive for something that didnt even work for me. but i think it would be fine for any skin type as i have sensitive skin and didnt have any negative effects from it. maybe if your lucky it will work for you.

Yuck, yuck, yuck I hated the medicinal aweful smell of this. Had to make myself finish a full bottle of this, not at all a pleasure to use. Much prefer the grapefruit version that Neutrogena offers, it doesn't have the weird grit and smells fresh and fruity.

I don't really know if its working on my body acne yet, but I did see that the large red bumps have reduced in size, so this must be because of this body wash. I don't know why everyone is complaining about the smell, it does its job :)

This is an okay shower gel - it does leave you feeling squeaky clean and the packaging is fine. But it smells kinda weird and isnt super-luxurious feeling, which I like in a shower gel. I never really had a problem with body acne, so I probably shouldn't be using this anyway haha, but as it stands, wouldn't repurchase.
