I've been using this mascara for about a month and I kind of like it. It gives a nice definition to lashes, it is easy to remove and the packaging is very pretty, however the brush is huge and bulky which makes it difficult to apply. Keep those cotton buds at hand while applying this mascara because you will need them to remove product from your eyelids and under eye area! Another thing that I find extremely annoying and off-putting about this mascara is that it flakes and falls off like there is no tomorrow. I can't really deal with the flaking so I am not buying this thing again.
This is an awsome mascara! Hand down the best I've tried in a long time! :) love the packaging also ;)
This mascara totally surprised me (in a good way). I've been using YSL Effet Faux Cills mascara religiously for quite some time but the last time I run out of it, I wasn't in a neighborhood to buy a new one. So I bought this since it was new and all other drugstore mascara's have been failing me lately.
But this truly works! It gives volume, length and very black coloring. It doesn't get clumpy nor does it smudge. Truly incredible! The result is somehow very false lashy but then in a way very natural. Like the previous reviewer said, it looks like you have naturally the most incredible lashes and then you just threw some mascara over to flaunt them.
Will buy again and maybe even give my wallet a well deserved six month's rest and survive without the YSL!
I've never been a huge fan of the "false falsies" genre of mascara, which tend to just look spidery and desperate, but Miss Manga is sort of changing my mind. My lashes DO look extremely long, extremely thick, and extremely black, while somehow seeming like I'm just blessed that way and am wearing a bit of mascara to show them off. I don't really understand how this works (my natural lashes are medium-length, fairly straight, and blonde for about half their length), but it's a good look. I especially love the way this looks on my bottom lashes, which is where it does get pretty close to doll-like, but I guess you could always skip this if you're feeling shy.
I'm also really impressed by how well this resists smudging off, without being waterproof. My eyes water a lot, but this stayed put even during a pretty cold, windy day. I would definitely recommend this!
This is the first review I've ever bothered to write. This mascara is THE best I've ever tried. Hands down, I love everything about it. Like many others I've gone through tons of different mascaras, everything from Dior, Clinique, Lancome, Maybelline, Max factor to those Asian(?) brands you see on youtube.
Of course it was the name of the mascara that got me curious. When I got it, I didn't think I'd like it, the brush just looked messy to me. Lately I've found myself going for mascaras with plastic/rubber brushes, but I wanted to try this one out.
Here's what I found: The brush is perfect, it separates your lashes and the shape of the brush gets to every single lash. The formula is fantastic, it's just ridiculous how many coats you can apply without getting a messed up result. It lifts your lashes, gives you great volume and it does lengthen a lot! It doesn't dry too quickly, it sure gives you time to put on as many coats as you want, without being wet. Since the brush is thinner on one side it's easy to use on your lower lashes as well.
I've never had a HG mascara, but I sure think I do now!
I truly love this mascara!!Saw it on the tv and looked up some reviews on the internet. Most of 'm were positive. Decided to give it a try and bought it last weekend. I have long but thin dark lashes, and this mascara truly gives them volume and seperates it very well! Do watch out for clugging, when you add too many layers, it will start to look silly. For me, a wonderfull mascara. Pricing is a little bit too much for a DS mascara, but they are in promotion sale most of the time anyway :)
