Defining my brows are a must in my makeup routine so I'm always dependent on my brow pencil. On weekends when I have the patience, I'll opt for Brow Zing, otherwise I find pencils the easiest and quickest to use. This is the first non-pencil product that I love- it really fills the brows, giving them more definition. I have black hair so medium/deep was perfect - very natural looking. I applied as per tips provided in the box and it really makes a difference in making my brows look fuller and well groomed. I find it long wearing too - lasted for a full 13 hours. This might actually overtake my pencil! The major downside would be the price, expensive for such a teeny product!
I wanted to love this but for my sparse brows it just didn't do much. Maybe this would work well for someone who has pretty full brows. I do like the brush though because it's small and easy to use. So here's what I'm doing: I use the gimme brow brush with a hair mascara that is designed to hide those pesky roots that show up in between hair color appointments (the wand that comes with the hair mascara is way too big for brows& makes a mess). It takes a little practice but there is a pretty good range of hair mascara colors to choose from & it stays put all day.
I love this! It looks so natural and it's so easy to use. I have a scar on my eyebrow so obviously don't have much brow hair but this fills in my eyebrows so perfectly. I can't rave anymore I love this.
Waste of money. I like the small wand and applicator spool, and I like the colour. It does disguise my odd grey eyebrow hairs well. But that's all. It doesn't help fill any gaps. It seems to be drying up quickly, which means it sometimes leaves product clumps in my brows...and it does not help to hold my brows in place at all. 5 minutes after I brush my brows into shape/place, they are all messed up (like I didn't even brush them). And I agree with the other reviewer that the fragrance is too strong. I will stick with Revlon Brow Fantasy.
I do like this product but the thing is that everytime I use it, I seem to get a pimple under my brows.. Does anyone else have this problem??
It's such a shame because I do love this product. The tiny little brush works wonders for my brows as I don't need that much of this product at all for it to work. (Unlike the MAC brow sets that have huge bristles)
Overall, a great product but it breaks me out everytime I use it and it's not cheap for such a small thing.
Awful. Just awful. If you don't have close-to-perfect brows, don't waste your money. I bought this in medium/dark, which is a nice medium-deep cool brown. Now that the pro is out of the way, I can get to the cons. If you have any gaps in your brows, unruly hairs, or any other defect, this will not work. The tube is tiny and the brush is ridiculously tiny, which you'd think would lend itself to precision application. Wrong. It's still easy to get it on the skin around the brows. I didn't see any fibers, but the formula made my brows stick out, for lack of a better explanation, rather than lie flat. And the smell is ghastly--very strong fake-flowery--which I could smell long after applying it. (Now that's strong.) Why did I let myself be fooled by another Benefit product? I will be returning this and will not repurchase.
I love this. Best thing ever!! If you know how to use it right, you dont have to use a pencil to shape them. I just love it. I have the darker color (only 2 color choices) and it matcjes perfectly. not too dark or too light. it feels a little wet on your brows but it dries quick and doesnt smear.
So the gimme brow is ok for me. I can see where it would be good for people with brows but didn't do much for my sparse brows. I don't have to use as many products with it but I still have to shape them with powder or pencil. But hey less steps is better.
My brows are thinning & have a few grey hairs. I have tried several products & this is the best I have found. I am so excited to find something at last & plan to order more.
This product is not water resistant ...give it a try next time you are in a store.. put some on your hand and spray a little water on it and rub it... it comes off easily with little effort. I feel all brow products should be waterproof. As a makeup artist that is the first thing I do with all brow products, I see if they stand up to the water test... who wants their finished brows to rub off half way through the day from a little perspiration... just an observation.
