My first VS perfume. I tested it a few times before purchasing it, this is the kind of fragrance i like, fresh, fruity but not sickly sweet with a right amount of floral to balance the fruity notes. I'm so addicted to this.
Not too crazy with the bow on the bottle, looks a little tacky.
In my opinion, the spray disperses quite a small spritze compare to my other highend perfume. Its also alittle hard to press, ie the bottle is not well contructed and alittle cheap and extremely heavy. Does not seem to last as long as my other edp.
To me this is overpriced for the kind of simple, fruity scent. Does not smell sophisticated or classy and not worth the price tag - if i smell without knowing which it is, i would not think it cost so much.
So I've been looking for a new perfume & sprayed two different ones on while I was at Macy's. Then went to VS & sprayed Victoria on b/c the notes seemed like something I'd love. Surprisingly, didn't really strike me as all that good. Kind of smelled like an imitation of my signature fragrance, Thierry Muegler Angel. Well, while I was sleeping I kept getting amazing whiffs of this smell I couldn't get enough of. It was quite a different smell than I'd usually go for but on me was heavenly. Went back to VS today, tried Victoria. Didn't initially like it & later smelled that beautiful smell. It was Victoria all along!!! My body's chemistry changes it into a sexy intoxicating smell on me. Try it & wear it awhile. It might surprise you!!!!
Victoria is very nice scent that has berries, roses, creme brulee...smells like roses, berries & custard...
I actually really liked Victoria. It's a really pretty scent that has the perfect amount of floral in it, I would compare it to lilies or peonies...there are much better ones out there, but I love Victoria Secret perfumes and body sprays/mists and theyre my favorite kind to use. Would repurchase probably.
This is for the limited edition Feathered Musk in the mist. I bought this bec I cannot wear a lot of musks (like Kiehl's) bec they turn soapy on me and then turn to skank. For the price of this mist I have a wonderful smelling scent that will last a long time and as far as I can tell this musk can be worn day or night, summer or fall it is that lovely. When I first spray it on my arm all I can smell is cherries, but the cherries are dry and earthy and not sweet to my nose. Then about an hour later the sweetness comes out, not like Pink Sugar but a muted sugar crystal smell with a light musk and sweetness in the background until another hour later the musk emerges but it has sort of an ambery smell to the musk whick is quite lovely. This scent lasted 8 hrs even though I just sprayed a little spray into the air and turned my arm to catch the droplets. I find after several hours the scent turns into resembling Oriental Musk by Kuumba Made which is lovely also. I love this and find that I have to let the scent carry it's presence from initial spray all the way into the drydown and the skin scent before I can honestly make a proper judgment on a fragrance. This is one I really enjoy bec at no time does it go skank on me.
Very disappointed with this. It does not smell like the old Victoria, which I loved. Do not buy it thinking you're getting a dupe of the original. The Crabtree&Evelyn "Iris" is closer to the original-thanks to the MUA person who suggested Iris to me, btw.
First of all, this fragrance was never meant to be introduced as a repromote of the original "Victoria" so for those expecting the original fragrance, "Victoria," this will surely disappoint (as a beauty specialist for Victoria's Secret, this is insider information :)) This is an entirely different fragrance :( Much like Gucci has done, unfortunately Victoria's Secret repromotes fragrances under the same name which is horribly confusing for customers :(
That being said, the fragrance does contain a blend of 5 European and American roses in the heart note (called the Victoria Rose which was developed for this fragreance) which is meant to be an homage to the original rose note in the first "Victoria" :) To be completely honest, it is nothing special, just a light, fresh fruity floral but it is very pleasant :)
This scent was supposed to be a reintroduction of the original perfume created by VS, but sadly it is nothing like the real thing. The original had notes of rose and sandalwood and amber and booziness and sex, and this new one has creme brulee and red berries. You know, like a candle from the dollar store. Or like any of a hundred other scents currently being made by VS.
Very disappointing, especially since several people were assured that this new scent would be a close copy of the original.
I entered the Victoria's Secret store today and was immediately hit by a poof of their new "Victoria", which was burning in an oil burner beside an enormous display of it, right inside the door, in beautiful bottles (pink, of course), and the SA immediately appeared and asked me didn't I think it smelled wonderful?.
Gorgeous 3.4oz bottle with a pretty bow on it, but I thought the scent was just okay -- yet *another* scent with a topnote of red berries (plus rose, and creme brulee). Red berries, really?. Again? And the color Pink. Again. It was nice - but like other things they've already put out before (Angel EDP with the wing bottle? Love Is Heavenly?). It smelled like a rebottle of previous ones, and it's very young-smelling. It also had that sharpish tart edge to it that their scents always seem to have.
In the end, I bought their Seduction Dark Orchid (Midnight Orchid, Plum, Oud Wood), which is deeper and I thought would be great in Fall/Winter. It was just more to my taste -- I knew it when I saw the dark bottle, and at first sniff. I just favor dark, rich Fall/Winter scents, in general, and that oud wood note sold me.
I do not own this perfume but today I smelled it for the first time and I really liked it. I was surprised to like it because lately VS has been making perfumes I don't really like. It is a beautiful fruity floral. I will have to purchase this in the near future.
