This has a lovely and light feeling both on your fingertips and more importantly, on your face. The finish is not oily or greasy at all and makes my slightly oily to normal skin look flawless with a matte finish. I gave it only four lippies due to the fact that there is no sunscreen. But heck, I can always wear my Olay underneath this. Great year-round product that despite its thick consistency, goes on and stays on beautifully, even in humidity. Love it.
Love this foundation. After finding my right color match ( the first one I bought was too light) this matches my skin perfectly. It is very lightweight on my skin and a little goes a long way. I hope that this does not get discontinued because this is definately my new fave foundation.
What an amazing foundation! Literally feels like you're applying moisturizer to your face. It's so smooth and creamy and blends beautifully into my skin. It's med coverage that can be built up to a fuller coverage...without caking. It looks so natural and flawless. Highly recommend.
After having read many reviews of this product, I decided I'd give it a shot. I love this stuff! Don't be put off by the small container, for a little goes quite a long way. I like to apply this with a duo fiber stippling brush for a perfectly blended, airbrushed effect. Coverage goes from medium to full, depending on how many layers of product one applies. I find that one minimal layer gives me medium coverage. I love the matte effect this product has. It does a great job of evening out the skin without looking cakey or too "made up" or overdone.
I sampled about 12 dept store foundations this summer in an effort to replace my neutrogena powder since they took out the spf. All of them patched or caked. I even returned GA Lasting UV powder & liquid for $130 when I finally decided to go with no spf mskeup & put powder with SPF on top & a sunblock underneath. It's more layers than I wanted but it works. 90 + temps with no AC at work & this stayed matte under powder. It didn't patch, smudge or separate. But it's a light coverage & I can still see freckles so it gets a 4.
This foundation isn't for everyone. I'd say oily girls might want to stay away. For me, I couldn't be more delighted. I travel often and the small jar footprint sans sacrificing amount of product couldn't be better. The consistency is rich and creamy... the coverage can be light to full depending on application. I use a foundation stippling brush and adjust coverage where it's simply perfect for my needs (good skin, normal as in not dry or oily) and this foundation covers every imperfection beautifully without that plasticy mask-like feel. I've remained loyal to Cover Girl, okay... admittedly along with more high end brands since I know my color and it always looks great in Soft Honey.
I don't wear makeup every day since I run business from my home office. I'm a makeup junkie and will always try some thing that is unique enough to catch my eye.
I was a huge fan of CG Aquasmooth- the ugly blue compact that I bet I replenished at least 25 times.
This Clean Whipped Cream formula is wonderful in its own right. Fit's the bill for all things I look for in a foundation. Very clean, adjustable coverage, skin enhancing and above all foundation that looks like GOOD SKIN vs. nice foundation.
WOW! Okay,I haven't used CG,since they changed drastically.I was walking by their display when I saw a picture for this product & grabbed my attention. There was only one of each color displayed.I was looking through to find my color match.I found my color.Tried this on the following day.The results amazed me.I've already had this product on since 5am,now almost 12:30pm..no budge,no cakiness,& still looks great.I would say this has a *Medium coverage. It works for me & very glad I purchased this with only one try & didn't have to return it =)
When Cover Girl released a whole line of new products that included these, they all ended up being mediocre and it includes this. This covers and looks pretty good, not to matte, not too dewy. It lasts decently, but nothing great. It needs SPF. This is just ok, not too impressive.
I loved the Revlon ColorStay Whipped Cream foundation, and I was excited to try the new Covergirl Whipped Creme foundation. I have it in the lightest shade, and it's a decent match. This foundation actually has great coverage, medium to full, and with that it makes a fantastic concealer for blemishes that I can't cover with anything else. Because it's summer, I'm a little more oily than I usually am, but this foundation still lasts all day on me when I set it with a powder. I think this would be perfect for dryer skin types or the winter months. I really like this product, I was shocked I actually liked something from Covergirl. I think this is really worth a try.
-Medium to full coverage
-Great for blemishes
-Doesn't cling to dry patches
-May not be be particularly suitable for very oily skin
