I really like to use it for natural looking lashes. The brush is soft and bristly - similar to the Diorshow one, I always prefer them over silicone brushes for my lashes. The result is very natural and subtle, just a little volume and colour, with no clumping which is great and you can apply quite a few layers. It does not make the lashes stiff and doesn't make them feel heavy, although it's not the longest-staying mascara I have tried.
Also I'm a sucker for any mascara that claims to condition the lashes - even if it's just a marketing claim it makes me feel better about using it.

Mosscara is the first mascara I have ever used that did not end up as a dark circle under my eyes!!

I’ve been using Aveda’s Mosscara on a regular basis without complaint for a while now. I wouldn’t say that it’s the greatest mascara ever, but it’s pretty good. I bought it because I like Aveda’s hair care products and I wanted to try their makeup. They say that it’s “smudge-proof,” and for the most part it is. Like all Aveda products, Mosscara is plant-based and the name comes from its moss ingredient.
