Demure is such a pleasure to use and looks divine. I have medium skin with warm undertones and it looks lovely as a healthy pop of color. I tend to use it more during the winter for that frost bitten rosy glow. The consistency is very blendable and moisturizing even for my combination skin.
It is lipstick-blush in a pot. The color is true candy pink with blue undertones.I find it very pigmented. So a little goes a long way.It pulls out the green in my eyes and really looks beautiful on light-medium skin tone.If you have a darker skintone and you would like to have a pink blush from the same line, you whould better try out RMS beauty's L2C in 'modest',since 'demure' might look ashy or not show up.
When it comes to consistency, to me RMS beauty is unique in its concept. They use only raw oils and it feels amazing on the skin.It is raw and still contains all of the oils vitamins and minerals. It is very hidrating. Not like a gel,but more like butter that melts and gives color to your skin without looking aging.(esp on the top os the cheek silicony or powder blushes look very aging. They dry out the skin around the eye and make you look dried out like a raisin)
As for the price,it is certainly not cheap, but it is totally worth it.You can use it on your lips, cheeks and eyes;it is non toxic, the color is beautiful,a little goes a long way so you will have it for a while.,it wears good and doesnt oxidize on my skin(some pink blushes turn orange on an oily skin, but this doesnt (at least on mine))I totally recommend it.
Demure is the newest addition of the Lip2Cheeks. I wanted to try all the Lip2Cheeks since I love Smile so much. This color is rather disappointing. It is a Barbie cool pink, not white frosty pink (like some Mac lipsticks) or coral pink (like Smile).
Overall, this color does not go well with people with warm complexions or yellow undertones like mine. It's a very cool color, and I honestly can't see it on anyone that isn't blonde or very fair. I think brunettes would look so much better in the pink coral that is Smile, and I'm definitely sticking to that shade. Women with black hair would look so much better with the deeper, intense shades like Illusive and Rapture.
With all the Lip2Cheeks, I slather on Pangea's lip balm underneath. These are not particularly moisturizing and do not look good without a decent balm underneath. RMS' Lip Shines and Balms are better for moisture. They're cheaper than the Lip2Cheeks by about $10 as well because they're not as versatile and because you use more product with those.
Pros: eco, chic, little goes a long way
Cons: price, drying formula, color, coconut oil (con for acne-prone as a blusher)
Ingredients: coconut oil, castor seed oil, beeswax, shea butter, jojoba seed oil, cocoa seed butter, argan kernel oil, tocopherol, sunflower seed oil, propolis extract, centella asiatica extract, rosemary extract, coloring
VERDICT: Sublime by RMS is a far superior pink. Sublime wakes the face up, moisturizes, and adds to an overall healthy glow - perfect for work, beach, or errands. This pink, on the other hand, washes and dries you out. It's also more $. Will not purchase.
