I should have probably avoided buying this at my CVS for $10 given the fact that my skin reacts to every eyeshadow on the planet, but I did because the neutral matte colors looked so attractive. Excepting the fact that it gave me a rash within hours of using it, the colors did not apply smoothly AT ALL and were not very pigmented. Even if my immune system didn't reject it's ingredients I would be returning this anyway because it's such a low quality product. I understand NYX is not a haute boutique brand or something but for ten dollars and change I kind of expect the colors to at least apply smoothly without powdery fallout. I will not be purchasing any NYX eyeshadow palettes in the future.

This is one of my palettes that I tend to grab for casual looks. The shades are great to make a nice neutral smokey eye or just a toned down neutral look. The shadows are highly pigmented and they stay on all day when used with a primer. You can make so many different looks with these nine eyeshadows. When I travel this always goes in my bag because it is small and works with so many different styles. There is an even mix of mattes and shimmery shades which works for so many different looks.

I bought this palette in particular because the neutrals seemed less yellow than those of the other LOVE IN PARIS palettes. This one includes some cool grays that contrast with and look good against my olive green/gold eye color. Paula Begoun does not recommend any of these palettes, faulting a lack of "color pay off." For me, however, I find the color intensity of these eyeshadows just right. I am a light colored Caucasian. For me, a lot of the eyeshadows on the market are just too pigmented for me to wear very easily. I really like this palette, and recommend it to others of similar age and skin tone.

I bought this palette for around $20 in Australia. I was hoping it would be good value as you got 9 different colours. The colours looked like good neutral colours and there was a mix of matte and shimmery colours. I loved the love in rio pallet (bikini bottom) but the love in Paris one disappointed me. None of the lighter colours showed up at all and there was very little pigmentation for the rest. It was definitely not worth the purchase for me.

I don't understand why many think that these shades are not pigmented enough. They indeed are, and there is one for everything on the eyes except mascara. I love this palette. I use it for brows, shadow, eyeliner, and highlighter. Love it!

I bought this palette before reading the reviews online, and I'm glad I did. I've been looking for a neutral palette of eyeshadows to wear for work or bring whenever I travel away for a weekend. I wanted something not too expensive, but with matte-colored neutral eyeshadows from taupe, to brown, and black, with a bit of variety. It's true that this palette isn't too pigmented, but it's perfect for when you want to wear light, or neutral make up for that "no-make-up" look. The shimmer eyeshadows in the palette aren't too glittery, which is a plus in my book. The packaging is what you'd expect from a drugstore brand. I kinda wish they'd added a small mirror to it, so I took points off packaging for that. The price is good for the variety of shades there are. I took a lippie off for pigmentation, because I have a couple of single NYX shadows that are more pigmented, but overall I think I would repurchase. For reference, I have medium/tanned skin and wear a primer underneath and the colors show up fine on my skin.

I Was so excited when this came in the mail. I wasliterally jumping for joy. So obviously I tried it out that evening. I washed my face and all and then I put on eyelid primer. It was NOT PIGMENTED none of the colour showed up on my skin I WAS CRYING but for the price I wasn't expecting expert quality but the quality I got was CRAP I was so mad. Especially the darker shades I hot to use the darkest shade to get the shade of the normal silky milk chocolate shade. Then It was so hard to open it took me 5 minutes to work out how to open these NEVER AGAINNNNNNNN

When I bought this I was hesitant. I wasn't sure if it was worth my money or if I should go with another palette or another brand of eye shadow. Well i'm glad I didn't because this is my go to eye shadow palette. I love all the neutral colors. My skin is super super pale ( I cant get half the skin products I would like because the lightest shade is still too dark for me). So the darker colors are perfect for when I want more of a natural look or a more Smokey, harsher look. I most colors, only one or two that doesn't look great on me but otherwise I love this palette. I'm currently trying to find this color from this palette In a single eye shadow because I used it so often i'm starting to see the pan at the bottom. I always get complements about my makeup and the eye shadow tops of the look. I use a really inexpensive eyelid primer and the nyx Jumbo eye pencil in Milk to enhance the eye shadow. Sometimes the eye shadow does crease which isn't pretty to look at but it lasts most of the day. Overall I love this palette and always have it around.

Let me start out by saying that I didn't buy this palette. I was all set to buy it because I loved the neutral colour grouping, I have loved most of the NYX products I've purchased (great makeup at an economical price) and I love all things "Paris". But I thought I would check out the reviews here first and, after reading them, I decided to take a pass on this. Once again, I am so grateful to MakeupAlley for saving me from wasting my money. I don't care if a product is under $10 or over $50 - I don't like wasting money on products that don't deliver.

Nyx is one of my all time favorite drugstore brands but this palette isn't their best work. Pretty disappointed but I still love the brand.First of all, the shadows are poor quality. the matte colors are chalky and the shimmery ones can even be a pit powdery and not very vibrant. the colors are beautiful but barely show up on the skin. I think there were only one or two shadows that didn't give me a problem. Most of them I had to rub and rub to get a swatch and my then nothing got on my brush to go to my lid. The packaging is super cute and I love that you get some mattes and some shimmers but the quality sucks, I actually ended up taking it back and I've never taken back anything by Nyx before! They need some improvement on their shadows but I love the concept and the packaging.
