SHITTIEST PRODUCT EVER. ALMAY GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. WEAK FORMULA, CAKES BUT STILL DOESNT PROVIDE COVERAGE. RETURNING BACK TO THE STORE.
Priceline (local beauty store in Australia) were having a cash back promo where you could purchase this and get the whole amount back on an EFTPOS gift card. Really was looking for a good replacement as my Aveeno Tinted Moisturiser was running out.
Well, i hate to say it, but i was severely disappointed. I have combination skin and this just made my face oilier as the day went on. In addition, they ran out of the SPF version and i didnt know it even existed until after i purchased this one. At first it covers well, but a little too well. I dont want a fake-looking complexion! It also wears off over the day, but it smells terribly and can come off all over clothes! One thing i do like about it, despite the mediocre shade range, is that there are no glitter particles in it. That was one thing that prompted me to look for an alternative to the Aveeno tinted moisturizer. Will probably use up the rest as an emergency stash, but glad that i got this for free, but i wont be repurchasing.
Don't like this stuff.. Scents usually don't bother me at all in makeup, but this stuff has an awful smell, smells like plastic and rubber. Also, the texture is gross. It has like weird things in it, I can't even describe it. It has good coverage which is the only thing I like. Don't buy it :/
This formulation is very cakey. I do not recommend for anyone with large pores....it tends to be blotchy as well. I bought light medium and it was orangey. Sorry it is a no on this one. Almay is suppose to have a good reputation.
I bought this product a couple days ago from Ulta for only 6.99$ I believe since they were having a 40% off Almay products deal. I really like Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream and it's been the only BB I've tried so far so I wanted to give a CC Cream a go. I must say that personally I do not like this product. It really is a shame too since I've been getting into Almay products lately! I have a lot of dark spots in the middle of my cheeks so I thought this product would help even my skin tone out...this product does blend well and a little goes a long way but the main problem I had with this product is how unbelievably GREASY it made my skin feel ): I have oily skin so I stay away from any dewy makeup looks but with this product (mind you with a powder on top) felt like it was slipping off my face mins after I put it on. I could feel the oily texture of the product as I was putting it on my face...hoping it would dry after a couple mins but it didn't. It also didn't seem like it concealed any of my dark spots, if anything it almost looked like it made my skin tone darker instead of "correcting". The smell is of over-powering sunscreen which probably contibuted to the greasy feeling. Not to mention, I got this product on sale. Retail price is 10$. Personally, I was disappointed and I wouldn't perchase this product again.
This gives me horrible skin infections--large cysts, and I'm 60 years old!
This is pure grease, and while it does give some color and sun protection, the day after I use it I wake up with giant infected cysts.
This isn't something I can recommend to anyone, even those with dry skin.
It has a chemical in it that inflames my skin and causes the most terrible big lumps and cysts which take forever to heal.
I've tried to use it several times now, and my skin becomes filled with pus filled lumps.
I have combination skin and this product makes my face very oily, very fast. I put my makeup on and before I even leave the house, I need to use a blotting paper. I have also been breaking out a lot since using this product. I would advise against this product unless you have very dry skin that needs the moisture.
I do like this CC cream. I've been using it or about a month, and it does a nice job of smoothing and balancing my skin. I've got extremely dry, extremely fair skin. I bought the lightest shade "100 Light/Pale", but it's still several shades too dark for me. I rarely ever get acne or redness, and I don't really have dark circles, but I do have a boatload of freckles, which I like to tone down with a heavier coverage foundation.
I like to first apply a lotion to my face for moisture (I use St Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter body lotion), I wait 5 minutes, then I apply a thin layer of the CC cream (it's way too dark for me, so I can't build it up for coverage without looking orange), then add my foundation and powder, etc.
I really like that it has SPF 35 in it, and it really has been helping my skin retain moisture and become more balanced and smooth in texture. It seems to be a good prep-step beneath my foundation. The price was ok, it was on sale at the time so I don't feel I over payed for what it is.
I like this, I love the SPF, it's smoothing my skin, and it's a nice extra moisturizing step. I can wear a thin layer of it alone for moisture and a little bit of a dewy finish, which I like. I've taken to adding this whenever I normally moisturize, so on top of my lotion after I shower (I moisturize immediately and then again after 30 minutes), before I do my foundation, throughout the day on no-makeup days, before bed, etc. It's so easy, and I'm seeing results! A nice little product, I just wish it came in lighter shades!
For ref I am an NC 25 and 2.0 in EL DWL and the light/med shade (200) was a great match for my rosacea and acne prone skin. I loved how the yellow tones in this CC Cream completely concealed my facial redness with out look fake or like I was wearing too much foundation - just a better version of myself.
Unfortunately that was all that worked for me as I have combination skin and this really brought out the oiliness. I think this would be awesome for someone with normal to dry skin. I think it may have broke me out a bit but in a pinch and if I only needed it to last two hours, I would wear it again.
yellow and thick. This is pretty much all I can say. When I buy cc or bb creams I expect better blending and better color matching.
This one is a good coverage foundation with yellow undertone and has moisturizing qualities
