I was really iffy on this foundation at first. But after continued (attempted) use, I've found it's really not for me. First, I hate have to use my fingers to apply foundation (what they recommend on the label) I think I've just gotten so used to using foundation brushes, that using my fingers grosses me out. I tried to use it with a brush & it just really didn't work out well. The colour was definitely too dark, but that is a common problem I have because my skin is much lighter than MAC's NC15. So, kind of a bummer that it really didn't match me. I also really disliked the consistency. It's a liquid to powder & it just felt really runny & slimey. Coverage was okay, that's about the only positive thing I can say. Didn't work well for me at all.
This is my new favorite foundation. I don't get acne very much, but I used to have pretty severe acne in my teens so I do have some redness and scars unfortunately. This foundation is light, doesn't make my face shiny, and covers just enough. It seems like it would be build able but I haven't experimented much with it in that respect to be honest. It matches my skin perfectly, it blends into my jawline flawlessly (which is ALWAYS a problem for me. Yeah Colorstay, I'm looking at you!) if you're looking for light-medium coverage you should give this a try.
I bought it for the first time today I thought it would be heavy and watery and ew, however I was amazed to find it covered my light freckles, the lightest matched my skin perfectly! It does kinda feel dry on so il put moisturiser on before hand, but amazing none the less! Buy it!
I bought this product looking for something that would be light-weight, keep my oil under control, and give me some coverage. I liked it as it was very light weight. It makes your face feel like nothing is on it! It had okay coverage, you can build it up as you like. It did control oil somewhat, not as much as I would like. However I would recommend this foundation!
I'm very happy with this. It's probably my best foundation aside from my airbrush s/b foundation from Temptu, but this is easier and quicker to apply.
I have combination skin and am 42. It's not perfect but it's the best I've seen in ages. It's my HG until further notice.
I use this as concealer under my eyes, and I love it.
As others have said, it's runny. I've got it in a small eyedropper bottle.
The skin under my eyes is actually a little lighter than my cheeks. This blends that out beautifully. I don't know if it's because of the liquid-to-powder formulation, but I love this because it's very natural looking and doesn't make my eyeliner/mascara bleed.
I prefer a dewy finish so don't use this all over my face; it blends well with my MAC Face and Body Foundation.
If you're looking for a natural way to even out your skin tones and don't need the heavy, tackiness or chalkiness (read coverage) that many concealers offer, consider this!
Okay, Hands down this is my favourite Foundation ever! Omg, words can't even describe how much I love this! I have normal skin type (Thank goodness) and this works amazing for me. My overall skin appearance is pretty flawless, and this just evens out some patches here and there, but this is fabulous. Yes, the packaging is not the best but I still love this!
I am in colour 328 sun beige, and this matches my skin tone perfectly, however Since I've lost my tan (Winter in Canada) this makes me look tan again<3 The coverage is on the lower side and I love it because this product is great! A little goes a long way<3
It does smell like rubbing alcohol
It does dry quick
It is pricey
But this is totally worth it. Best foundation so far for me<3 Will continue to purchase!
Since L'Oreal owns Armani, this is their mass version of the highly touted maestro foundation. Magic nude is very thin liquid and it is sheer to light coverage. It is not meant to cover but only to even out skin. The look is quite natural and it has a silky feeling. I hate that there isn't a pump but the glass bottle is nice. I am a NC20 and I purchased nude beige; however I think classic ivory might be a better match.
Been using this for a few weeks now and so far I'm a fan. Surprisingly, this foundation works well for me even though I have combination oily-dry (very dry, I have eczema) skin. I just make sure to use a good facial moisturizer and primer first. So far not having the issues of it clinging to dry skin. I use this on days where I don't want to wear so much makeup, like if I'm just having an easy day at work. The only thing I don't like about this foundation is that it wears off a lot quicker than my other foundations, so I set my t-zone with some powder and I always carry blotting papers with me.
I wanted to love this foundation so badly... but it really did not work for me. I have VERY oily skin, and I mean extremely oily, its horrible! I thought this foundation would be great because it transforms to powder! Sounds awesome for us oily girls right? Think again...
-Smooth velvety consistency.
-Turns to a "powder" quickly.
-Light/medium coverage (my preference)
-Clings to every imperfection and peach fuzz.
-Wears off just after a few hours even when used with primer and set with my HG powder (maybelline dream matte, try it, you'll LOVE it!)
-No pump (wasn't a big deal to me, but it can get annoying)
I think the only people who would like this are ones who have nearly no problems with their skin and have a smooth surface to work with...other than that I'd say good luck! I hope it works out for others, just not for me!
