This is a great mascara. It holds the curl beautifully, thickens. I don't have a ton of lashes anymore so I start with the brush for the top lashes and then use the brush for the bottom on top as well. The only thing I don't love is that it is a bit dry in the tube, seems almost empty when it is brand new, but I am going to keep on using and see what happens. So far so good.
I've got stick straight lashes that are short, and not to mention that I don't have very full lashes. But I love this mascara! It holds my curl so well, it doesn't smudge to my bottom lashline, it lengthens and volumizes with little to no clumping!
Two things I don't like about this mascara is the wand for the top lashes. I'm not a big fan of it, it takes a little getting used to (I think). And another thing, maybe I'm using a bad makeup remover (Neutrogena Oil-Free) but this mascara is seriously so hard to get off!
But it's totally worth it because it makes my eyelashes so much thicker and longer that I love it! Sometimes I even use the bottom lash mascara on my top and it still works amazing (I never use bottom lash mascara) I'm almost out, and I always try new mascaras so I won't necessarily repurchase immediately. But I definitely will buy it again!
what a disappointment. the formula does not adhere to my lashes at all, no matter which brush you use. if you've ever had the experience where you try to put mascara on your lashes and basically the wand deposits the mascara all over your eyelids but none on your lashes, using this mascara will be deja vu of that sad time. it took forever to get any of this stuff to stick to my lashes and it was a messy job requiring lots of cleanup with a q-tip afterwards.
the crazy thing is that the smaller brush didn't help! in my experience, a tiny brush can do wonders with my nearly invisible lower lashes, but this brush + mascara was shockingly terrible. i tried to work with this product for several days but lost patience and returned it. my favorite mascara of all-time is the maybelline colossal cat eyes in waterproof. it's awesome for short, straight, thin lashes. it beats out all - diorshow, lancome, tarte, clinique, estee lauder, etc. for giving beautiful drama to my thin little lashes AND holding curl, which is what makes lashes stand out.
Love The Falsies so I was excited to try this. Total letdown! Top lash brush/formula is crap and does nothing for my lashes. Bottom lash formula/brush is OK, but nothing to get excited about... Bummer!
I bought this to try, just out of curiosity, because I love the Turbo Volum Express in waterproof and I was intrigued by the separate brush for lower lashes. The formula is pretty good - was able to build it up quite a bit and I could achieve either a separated or more spidery "doll lash" effect with the upper brush. However, the lower brush kind of sucks. I do have very long lower lashes so maybe I am better off with a normal sized brush on both the upper and lower lashes, but either way, the brush just didn't seem to deliver much product at all. It was hard to even get enough onto my lashes to cover them. I had to re-dip the wand probably 10-12 times per lash line. It worked okay in the end but that's just too much time and trouble for me. Maybe it wouldn't be quite as bad for people with shorter lower lashes, but it's hard to say. The plus side is that it was fairly easy to remove for a waterproof mascara, which was a relief because I'm always nervous about the removal after trying some really nasty waterproof formulas that have caused my lashes to break during removal. My Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover worked it off fairly easily. The formula also didn't run or smudge or crumble for me throughout the day, which is good.
I'll probably use up the tube (might just use the upper brush for both the upper and lower lashes to use the product up), but I'll be sticking to my Turbo Volum Express in waterproof, which seems to work best for me.
I had high hopes for this mascara! I was super excited when I found out about it, after loving the falsies black drama mascara so much. I went to ULTA, and I got it for $8 I think. I guess it was worth the two mascara wands, but LORD, was this a crap product. First off, the bottom lash brush literally did squat to my bottom lashes. It smudged throughout the day, and didn't define a thing. The upper lash wand was just.. Oh god. No. No. NO. The wand is weird and twisted, and whatever way I tried to apply my mascara, it would clump and make my lashes spidery. No bueno. Don't waste your money on this mascara. Try the maybelline falsies black drama on top and bottom lashes for a much better defined "big eye" look
Upper Lashes End: Absolute GARBAGE. Spider leg lashes, completely weighed down curled lashes.
Lower Lashes End: Simple tiny brush that did what it's suppose to do.
If it weren't for the lower lashes end, this would be in the garbage by now. What a waste of money.
I really really like this mascara. I have short lashes that are hard to volumize and lengthen. I have been using Maybelline mascaras and I like the effect they had on my lashes. When I watched reviews on this mascara I saw the effect it made and went to buy it and try it out myself. This mascara is nice and cheap and both applicators make a little click sound when you screw them all the way shut. I have tried the Falsies mascara before and hated the clumpy and thick look it gave my lashes, but this mascara from the Falsies line makes my lashes look thicker, longer, and curled. My lashes aren't stiff and they almost look false to me! I would definitely recommend this mascara!
I was definitely excited to find the falsies formula with a non-curved brush when I saw this. However, the formula feels much drier than original falsies and that equaled more spider legs and less ability to play around to cover every lash. Leaves my lashes on the crunchy side. The brush for upper lashes has way fewer bristles than original brush. :( The only thing I liked was the lower lash brush which was basically the same brush they use for their lash discovery mascara.
The brush for this, is terrible. By the time you pull it out of the double ended tube, the brush is so short it's virtually impossible to apply to your lashes. Plus, it clumped like all get out! No, no, no....
