This product was disappointing ,it gave me no length or volume. All it was really good for was a coating on my natural lashes before I applied my false lashes. The only great thing about this product was the bottom lash applicator , wouldn't repurchase
Cute product, really neat packaging, nice bottom lash mascara. The upper lash formula was way too wet in my opinion though. I had to apply it really carefully for it to look okay. I wouldn't get it again.
Pretty darn good for a drugstore mascara. I recommend this mascara to thin, sparse-lashed ladies like me. I have the waterproof version, so I'm not sure how the waterproof and non-waterproof formulas will differ. This mascara can be VERY effective if you use the right technique. Personally I think the bottom lash wand is crap but ONLY if you use it for the bottom lashes! For those that are in the habit of curling the crap out of their lashes and having the mascara stretch out the curls, this mascara barely helps to stretch it out and when it dries it hardens. Therefore, you want to get the most natural curl as possible when you're using your eye-curler to maintain that natural shape.
Before I discovered this technique and went easy on the curling, I wasn't satisfied with the mascara because it made my lashes look really blunt, thick (in a harsh way), and unnatural. WHAT YOU SHOULD DO is apply your top and bottom lashes with the bottom lash wand to get a good, thin coat. This will act as a really nice base and help to separate your lashes for a beautifully flared out effect. Then use the top lash wand as you regularly would with any any mascara to the top and bottom lashes, and you've got beautifully dark, thickened, and separated lashes.
I don't know how well this trick will apply to the naturally full lashed ladies and gents, but hopefully it would be very useful to you.
Pros: packaging. Bottom lash wand is awesome. Cons: formula too wet. Mascara wand for the upper lashes is a bit too long. I would not buy this again. I wouldn't recommend it either.
I gave this a try when I had a $2 off coupon. I've been a Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes user for a few years as my goto mascara because none of the other hundreds of mascaras have done anything for me, but I may finally have found a drug store mascara that does what I need. I am sooo impressed how well this mascara works on my straight, short sparse lashes. With only a few coats, I have volume & l length AND it doesn't make my lashes go straight after I curl them. I don't even need the waterproof type - this stuff stays on even with my watery eyes when I wear my contacts. I definitely recommend & I will definitely will purchase again.
My eyelashes are thin, straight and blonde and this mascara is honestly one of the best I have ever tried. The formula is quite dry so holds curl and builds volume very well. If you liked Maybelline Falsies, this one feels very similar (I personally think better) and the tiny bottom lash brush is an added bonus. Only thing about this I would criticise is that you get very little product considering the fact that this costs about the same as any other drugstore mascara. I would recommend switching the upper and lower lash tubes when you start running out to make sure you pick up all remaining product with the bigger wand.
As another reviewer said, it's nothing to write home about. I love the lower wand for my bottom lashes, and it's good lengthening/defining mascara. It clumps pretty easily, but I'm sure it can be avoided if you're careful (If you have the time to be careful). I don't know what it is about double ended products but I feel like I'm not getting as much formula as I would with single-wanded product. I'll use it while I have it, but I'm sure I can find something much better.
I've been using this for about a week. I usually wear two different mascaras. With this, I can just use this and nor a second different type of mascara. It has a drier formula. Too much and your lashes might be a bit to crispy and flaky. This hasn't flaked on me. I have the waterproof formula because the regular version was sold out. It makes my lashes look thicker with two applications. And I like the smaller side for lower lashes. Yes, I'd buy this again.
I like how how its has a double sided wands one for the top lashes and a smaller one for the bottom.I dont like that the bottom doesnt put that much mascara on. The top lashes don't really look the long and they stick together with this mascara and clump.I don't I will buy this again because there are better mascara out there.
Truly an average mascara, nothing horrible but not worth repurchasing either. I loved the concept, dual brushes for your upper and lower lashes, but in reality it's a bit gimmicky and less effective than I'd hoped.
--doesn't smudge, flake or irritate my sensitive, watery eyes
--lasts throughout the day in most weather conditions
--gives average volume and length
--upper lash brush isn't so big that I get blobs of mascara on my eyelids, easy to maneuver even around tiny, inner corner lashes
--leaves me with hard, crunchy lashes after the first coat
--not easily buildable without clumps and lashes sticking together, especially at tips
--lower lash brush is useless, literally doesn't deposit enough mascara to make a difference so I use the upper lash brush only
--I can easily get a clump-free, more volumized look from better drugstore mascaras [like Cover Girl Lashblast]
Bottom line: I'm using it up but would not repurchase or recommend.
