I like this stuff. It smells good and it does make my hair feel soft. I like the pump feature. I do have to be very careful about how much I put in my hair though. It says to put in one to two pumps but two pumps is WAY too much for my fine hair. I'm not opposed to repurchasing but i'm continuing to purchase different products to find one I love.
I have thin, dry, curly, and super frizzy hair and this product didn't do a thing for it! Frizziness galore, no curl definition whatsoever...huuuge disapointment
I have thick hair that tends to be coarse and frizzy, and it takes blow drying and/or straightening to get it to the texture I want-- smooth and frizz-free, but that also takes out a lot of volume. Like another reviewer, I have hair that's "in between", neither curly nor straight, if it air dries it tends to be quite wavy, especially underneath. My sister bought this and I've been sneaking a small pump for the last few days, putting it in damp hair and letting it air dry and I've been enjoying the results. I usually don't let my hair air dry because it gets all weird looking but FINALLY, a product that smooths my hair out (without looking greasy), tames the frizz quite well, and lets me give my hair a break from heat styling. Since my hair tends to be naturally wavy, I don't scrunch it or do anything else after I put the product in. It leaves my hair soft and hydrated. I'm going to get my own bottle and I can see this lasting a long time, I don't even use a full pump for my hair, which is a couple inches past my shoulders. I'm happy I found something that allows me to enjoy the natural waviness of my hair.
This isn't a perfect product, I think it works well as a daily shine/styling cream, but I wouldn't expect it to perform any miracles.
I like to use it when I'm braiding my hair because it helps to keep little bits from poking out of the braid without using gel (I hate gel).
I've been eager to dry this for months but it's $8.49 at CVS which is just too much for a drug store hair product IMO. But I happened in on Wags and they had it for 2/$7 plus I had a BOGOF coupon. Woo hoo. Unfortunately, this is not impressing me. My hair looks and feels the same. I've used it on dry and damp hair, and honestly, John Frieda's Secret Weapon works better than this stuff. My hair is Asian, ie coarse and since I've been coloring it, on the dry side. I should have had a clue though, because I've tried the "Ultimate" shampoo and conditioner by Pantene, and those didn't work for me, either.
This has been kind of like a miracle product for me. I have hair that is easily dry and whispy on the ends, frizzy, and kind of between curly and straight. I have always wished it would be one way or the other, but instead it's kind of "in between" and takes significant styling to be either way... until this product. I smooth two pumps on, finger style a few ringlets around the face, and air dry. Amazingly, it turns out non-frizzy, wavy, soft, etc. I could never air-dry before this! And you can't beat the price. The pump is easy but does get a little clogged - hence, one lippie off the total score.
This makes my hair more frizzy. It didnt really do anything for my hair.
They call this product the Ultimate 10 as Listed on the back, it says this product does up to 10 things for your hair from repair, tame flyaways, moisturize, and shine (just some examples) and this product does none of that except make my hair smell really good like I just washed it and maybe makes my hair feel a little bit softer. I would buy this again only as it makes my hair smell really nice and good to throw in my hair when walking out the door if my hair hasn't been washed. Its almost like a hair perfume!! Why hasn't any hair product lines thought of that idea?? Hmmmm....
I bought all 3 of the Ultimate 10 products - shampoo, conditioner and BB cream. My hair is curly and somewhat coarse, particularly the bottom few inches. I am always trying products to smooth out the last few inches, never having much success.
I used all 3 products today, and I don't think my hair ever looked better. It was smooth, shiny, soft and it stayed that way, even in the Florida humidity. I applied the BB cream when my hair was damp - instructions say you can reapply after styling, but I didn't try that yet.
Some of the other Ultimate 10 shampoo and conditioner reviews weren't too good. But I think that with all 3 products working together, I got a really good result. Price is great. I have spent much more on products which didn't work as well. Would definitely buy again.
Some of the absolute worst crap I've ever put in my hair. I grabbed this on vacation after forgetting my usual silk drops. At first I was ok with it. Hair blows out pretty smooth, gives nice shine and it smells ok but it doesn't do much to protect against frizz no matter how I wear my hair, straight or curly but I live in an extremely humid climate so I didn't expect miracles there. The real problem with this product is that in just two weeks it dried the hell out of my hair. As soon as this finally washed out completely and I went back to my tried and true Silk Drops my hair felt like straw. I'm gonna have to co-wash for two weeks to get my hair back in shape. Good short term results but garbage for your hair in the long run. If you consider two weeks of regular use long term. I've never had this issue with silk drops but that also washes off my hands easily this stuff seems to leave a gross hard to remove film and that should have been my first clue.
