Basically my go-to drugstore mascara.
I really love the Falsies Flared edition as well so I go back an forth between these two.
The formula is pretty much the same for both except that the brush on this one makes your lashes really flare out and gets each lash. Only thing I could do without is the spiky-ness of the bristles.
Wet and goopy like all Maybelline mascaras so leave is uncapped overnight for the perfect consistency :)
This formula actually disappointed me. The wand is a brush wand that is firm, fairly small, and curved. You can get an even application with the wand, but the formula fell short for me because it smudged very badly on my brow bone. I have very oily skin, but I do wear an eyeshadow primer. The color was very opaque, and it held the curl well so it wasn't horrible but I prefer other formulas by Maybelline.
Wow! This is a keeper. I've been on a mascara jag the last few months. Can't believe I didn't wear any for several years, but eye sensitivities had made it seem like russian roulette. Now I don't remember what brought me back, but Merle Norman's lovely Lash Supreme was a good start. Although it holds up rather well otherwise, it isn't waterproof, and I get teary-eyed without warning. I was also hoping to find something I'd use without a lash primer. Tried a bunch (thanks, MUA and Ulta!), but most did nothing, and poking my eye with the new rubber bristle wands hurt. Learning that Benefit had a small size, I thought I'd try They're Real, one of the heavy hitters. OMG. Had no idea all those long lashes had been in hiding! But $23, for the regular size, felt a bit steep. On the other hand, i wouldn't need the primer. Still, $23 is $23. Well, shopping my stash, I came across this one. Didn't remember trying it, but it was out of the package. When I pulled the wand out I remembered that the very curved brush had just looked too scary, since I was already poking myself with straight ones. But I had to try...and...WOW. Second only to They're Real, at a fraction of the cost. And not far behind. Also managed not to poke myself. I'm a very happy camper.
I love this product. It really lengthens my lashes and makes them really black and bold which I really like. It was about 8 or 9 dollars but definitely worth the money. I will definitely be repurchasing this product.
This lengthens and separates nicely, and gives a little curl as well. My current choice when I really want my mascara to stand out. Long wearing also, and doesn't irritate my contacts.
This was the first mascara I have ever used. I have very dark, long lashes, so I had never before needed to use one. But I picked this up on a whim at Ulta and I am impressed! This mascara takes my normal lashes and amplifies them like nobody's business. It almost looks like I'm wearing falsies, but still looks natural. The packaging is really cute too with the leopard spots. I wish it dried a bit faster, but that is only a small complaint.
When I ran out of my first tube, I tried a few other brands, but nothing compares. And so many places have BOGO 50% off deals on Maybelline, so I can pick up two of these for dirt cheap!
This is seriously my HG mascara, and not just in the drugstore category. I've pretty much left most of my mascara collection untouched because the look and endurance of this one is so great. My lashes are long enough but they can't hold a curl so they look short ... But they are so full and sexy and yummy with this mascara. You can REALLY tell the difference and there has never been less runoff. No more Q-tip breaks in the middle of the day! And I am saying this having worn it in both humid and dry climates. The only suggestion I have is to have an excellent (and I mean excellent) eye makeup remover because I do have to spend quite a bit of time making sure every bit comes off. In fact I stopped using my go-to makeup wipes because they just aren't strong enough. Then again, this is being written by someone who goes for performance over convenience, so it still gets high marks. This has already been repurchased -- and will be over and over again.
Like most Maybelline mascaras, this mascara did not fail to impress me! I have super stubborn Asian lashes so I need a good waterproof mascara that can give me lots of volume, length, and hold a curl. Because it was waterproof, it held my curl just fine. I also thought it gave my lashes pretty good length but nothing extreme. I was a little disappointed with the volume though. It didn't do anything too dramatic .. which some may prefer. It gave a good natural look. However, I prefer something with more volume. The thing I like most about this mascara is the wand! I love how it's curved ... it made application SO easy and I was able to coat every single one of my lashes without any complications or smudging!
I have a new fave from Maybelline. My favorite has been the Falsies Flared Waterproof, but this one is replacing it. It's even better than most of my Lancome mascaras. It lengthens without making my lashes look spidery, and my lashes look black and curled all day. Absolutely no smudging. Does not give much volume with 1-2 coats, but you can layer it and it will not clump. It is a pain to remove (Falsies waterproof usually comes off with makeup remover wash) but I find my extremely Clinique makeup remover takes it off without too much trouble. Try this! So cheap but so good.
Finally got my hands on this. The name of this mascara fits perfectly to what it does; giving you lengthened lashes for the cat eyes effect. The brush is curved, looks similar to the falsies flared wand but thinner. It catches all my lashes with one swipe and has a wet formula compared to other Maybelline mascaras. Luckiely it dries quickly! It lengthes and separates making it another win for maybelline!
