This is a unique glitter polish with silver stars and small bars and teeny tiny silver bars/shreds suspended in a clear base. The polish is cute in the bottle, but doesn't work well in reality. I had to fish for the stars and even the bars and there is much more clear base than glitters. The polish is thick too and impossible to get thin layers. I wanted to love this polish so much with all the silver stars, but after all the fishing and placement and work to get 5 stars on a thumbnail and 3 on another and then I had to add a lot of Seche Vite top coat to even it all out and give this a decent look. It was a lumpy mess before. I layered this over OPI's Russian Navy and the end result is really nice, and I love the way the little bar glitters sparkle, but overall, this is too much work.
Star of the Show, a Fast Line polish, was sold as part of the 2012 Holiday collection. It's a chunky glitter with holo stars, two sizes of bars, and tiny hexes in a clear base. All star glitters take some work, but this one literally should have been named, "Fishing for Stars." The stars are so sparse, even with some work, I only get about two out every time I use it. The bar and hex glitters are even too spare to save this! And what might even be worse is that the stars, once on my nails, never lay flat. They stand up and poke me until I'm so annoyed with them that I peel them off.
