Back in the day there was an Aveda fragrance I loved called Attar. They discontinued that but this was as close a replacement as I could find. It's not nearly as rosey and has much more of that Aveda fragrance found in the Shampure line but it's AWESOME. Unfortunately, they discontinued this too and I haven't been in a store in a while to see what the replacement might be. I only can hope and pray that they don't adopt the whole run-of-the-mill-please-the-16-year-old mantra like everyone else. This is unique and wearable. Shower fresh. Gorgeous. And maybe every guy on the street isn't like "OMG, I want to have sex with her now" when he smells it but it still sure does garner a whole load of compliments.

This one always gets out as I take the chakra-test at Aveda's counter.
It's very nice, flowery and lively.
I think that Aveda fragrances are more of a kind of fragrance that you wear for your self and your well-being, without caring what other people may think!
Usually they're not those "sexy" musky bombs that make men's head to turn or say "You smell sooo good!"

I love this scent! It's so... Aveda! Just as the first poster write, the "heart" of this scent is that it is so close to the fragrance you smell when you enter an Aveda store! LOL! It's the Chakra V, and it has a deeper warmth than the shampure scent. I think it is also reminscent of the Men's product line, though not as spicy. (I love the scent of that line!) The body mist is a bit lighter, and it's lovely for spraying the hair too!

Hate this! I find all of the chakras smell like mens cologne. Aveda claims they are unisex, but I find them more masculine. I think they all smell the same. Nothing unique about these at all.

As described by the Aveda website: "Inspired by inspiration and artistic expression. Contains 27 pure essences including calming rose, geranium and narcissus." I really like the Chakras, and this one is my favorite. It has that distinct "Aveda" smell to is that is pervasive in the Love oil and Shampure, only it's a little more spiced up. A very clean, light, soapy smell that doesn't really smell like a traditional perfume.
