These blushes are very cheap but also very good. Color pay-off and blendability are more than satisfactory. They do not last a whole day but considering the low price I don't exptect them to do so and even expensive blushes tend to disappear on my oily skin after a couple of hours.
My favorite shade is sweetheart which I always carry in my purse for retouching purpuses.
Absolutely gorgeous blush, so pigmented! However I wish they came out with a few more deeper shades in the permanent collection.
This ones really impressed me for the price .... well worth silky, pigmented, long wearing beautiful colors... I have all 4 shades available at my local ulta .. life's a cherry, babydoll, adorable and sweetheart .. I would definitely buy them again. I also have the all about matt fixing compact powder.....love this brand good quality products !!
I bought this blush at the same time as the All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder and have no regrets. This blush was cheaply priced for $2.99 Cdn and even though it doesn't include an applicator and the packaging is somewhat flimsy, the product is of good quality. I bought #60 'Life's A Cherry' and it compliments my winter skin tone. The product lasts all day, goes on super smoothly and easily and is pigmented enough to add a true-to-what-you-see color when applied. I didn't see any color change either after having it on for 12 hrs+. Just a FYI, the clerk at the Shoppers Drug Mart said Essence doesn't test on animals, either. Would buy again.
P.S. I've also tried Maybelline and Revlon blushes and they were more expensive and of less quality than this Essence blush.
I feel like you really get the bang for your buck for this one. For less than $3 USD, it's almost a steal. I have it in Sweetheart and Babydoll, both of which I enjoy. The texture of it in the pan is very smooth and consistant. Both are very pigmented, you have to pretty much tap your brush at least once in order to avoid looking overdone.
I personally have a really big problem with blush not staying on my face. I feel like I've tried a decent amount of blushes and have wanted to get a Tarte blush or too, but haven't had the money to, so when I heard from a rave review from Melmphs on YouTube, I didn't think it'd be a big loss.
Most days I can get a decent wear. It depends on how I put it on and how much I put it on, but this for me personally do so much better than any other drugstore blush performs, so I think for the average person, it would last all day.
Sweetheart is a nice more pinkish-mauve shade that's a little darker than you'd think. Babydoll is a pop of pink on my cheeks that gives me a little color. It looks good on my fair skin, but I'm not sure that it would show up on the darkest of skin tones.
I believe there are four shades out now and I'd like to get the others. These would be great for everyone and they are great unexpected find. :)
This is a (true to the name) super silky blush. The colour does't go on too sheer or too heavy, just right, and it's almost a creamy powder texture.
It's super cheap as well.
The only issue I've had with this blush is that is may be TOO soft. I opened up my makeup one day to discover it had crumbled into a whole bunch of little pieces, and I don't exactly remember dropping it or anything.
I am giving it a 4/5 because of the crumbling issue, and because it just didn't really seem to go the extra mile for me. But it is still a great, inexpensive pick, which I would repurchase overall!
AND; essence is cruelty-free ^.^
I have the colour baby doll. It gives a very natural flush to my face like its a slightly chill day out kind of blush. Its very pigmented so use a light hand or you will go all clown. I wear it everyday :) just be careful cause mine fell off my dresser and it cracked so the packaging aint great
I have this blush in Natural Beauty/40. I wouldn't say that it is silky like the package describes, it definitely feels like a powder and has a powder blush finish. But that's great for me as I have oily skin. I can't really use anything too silky on my face. I use this shade for contouring and to warm up my face as my body is naturally tan but my face is a bit lighter. Metaphorically I would repurchase, however I am wanting to try out more expensive brands once this is finished.
I love this blush!! I have it in the shade Natural Beauty and it's holy grail material for me! It has great pigmentation and lasts for several hours. I have blushes from high end brands like Chanel, Nars, MAC and Benefit but this one is my favorite! For the price I think everyone should try it!
WORTH EVERY PENNY! I AM NC45 IN MAC AND THESE SHOW UP GREAT I LOVE NYX BLUSHES THESE ARE CHEAPER BUT *** BEWARE IF THEY DROP OR FALL OR HIT SOMETHING HARD IT BREAKES ALL UP INTO A MESS. CAN STIL BE USED BUT IT HAS TO BE THEN TRANSFERED INTO ANOTHER CONTAINER TO SAVE. BUT FOR 2.99 I WILL BUY AGAIN AND AGAIN.
