I absolutely love Garnier's Sleek n Shine leave in conditioner so when they came out with this, I figured I would give it a try. I agree with other posters. This product did the opposite of what it should have and made my hair dry. I do have thick, curly hair so I have better luck with creams in general but this simply did not work at all. I would not recommend this to women with dry or curly hair. I will not repurchase. I will stick to their leave in cream!
I dont know what the other reviews are talking about, maybe they are using too much. I love this stuff. I use one pump in my long hair after I shower, about halfway down. It smells really good, detangles, and makes my hair feel really soft. It also accentuates my waves and I've gotten a lot of compliments on my hair. I would definitely buy it again, and I would spendmore than $5 on it too
This is amazing. I don't understand what everyone is hating on this product. My hair, in the beginning is frail, thin, dry, and very damaged. Once I used this my hair was smoothe, silky, and a lot less frizzy. I didn't even have to use conditioner beforehand for this product. All I did was just wash it, and then put his product in while it's damp. This didn't even make my hands sticky. I use about 2 pumps of it for my hair, which is a little more than enough. It smells great, the price is great, overall the product is fantastic. I really recommend this cause I was about to get a hair cut, cause my hair is that bad, but this product saved my hair.
It's rather drying, something you DON'T want your conditioner to do. At least it foams, I like that a lot, but it would be nicer if it weren't so drying...
This product left my hair feeling like straw. It made my hair even more drier than before. This product claims to hydrate and leave hair without heaviness, however, did the complete opposite to my hair. In addition, the foam leaves an extremely sticky residue on your hands. The only good thing I have to say is that the packaging is nice.
Oh god. This stuff was a sticky mess! If feels like foaming hair spray im my hair! If anything it actully feels like your drying your hair out..... im returning this asap
ewww yuck do not spend your money on this product! this product left my hair feeling dry, brittle, hard and sticky. it didnt add moisture but instead took away moisture if thats even possible. i gave it a few trys but every timed i used it i would hate it and have to wash it out. i even gave it to my mom to use thinking maybe because my hair is dyed it wasnt reacting well to it but on my moms natural hair it did the same it made her hair tangled hard and sticky. over all Garnier you dissapointed me with this one.
I just got my hair cut a few weeks ago from wayyyy past my shoulders to now right under them so that i could get rid of all of my split ends. Since then, I completely re did my entire hair routine and garnier fructis products were at the top of my list! This product comes out of the bottle as a foam kind of like a foaming soap which was really cool since I had never seen that before with hair products. Overall, this is a pretty normal leave in conditioner. It didn't really impress me or not impress me it was just neutral. I would compare it to None of your Frizziness leave in conditioner by herbal essences. If you blow dry your hair it will leave a lot of frizziness and split ends but it has a really nice smell and is a really great product if you shower at night and let your hair air dry then re wet in the morning and blow dry then.
I loved the Hydra Recharge system, in spite of myself. I'm not usually a shampoo girl at all-- after years of trial and error, I grew tired of commercial shampoos drying my hair out, so I simply gave up, using my own home-made shampoo and conditioner, and praying that today would be a "good" hair day. Well those "good" days are here to stay now! I got this as a free sample from BzzAgent, so I decided to throw caution to the wind and try a new shampoo after all those failure of the past. I'm glad I did! The first time I tried the shampoo and conditioner, I was surprised by the scent-- this was not the fruity apple I remembered from my teens. I wasn't entirely into it-- there's something a litte unconventional about it. BUT, once it dried, the scent lingered, and it was much lighter. I admit I grew smitten with it throughout the day. The 1-minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment was phenomenal. It's what really sets this line of products apart from the rest. My hair felt softer, and less dry before I even left the shower. I found my natural more soft and manageable-- a significant decrease in frizz, and more defined loose waves. I also found that when straightened my hair looked healthier, and did not revert to it's normal wild state as easily. I would definitely recommend the 1-minute treatment above all to my friends. The micro beads in the shampoo and conditioner seem more like a gimmick than anything else, but I will not argue with the methods of the 1-minute treatment-- it's just that good! The shampoo was also a little weak on the cleaning front. While it wasn't drying, it also felt like it did not clean my hair as thoroughly as it should have. This is definitely a problem for girls that actually want to go the 2 days without washing! It was also easy to go overboard on the 1-minute treatment the first time around, but by the second time you pretty much know how little product you need to make it work.
I have long very dry hair prone to frizziness. I used this product as a leave in after my daily shampoo and conditioner. It comes out of the packaging foamy. Added to damp hair it creates a nice slip and makes it easier to comb out wet hair. The trouble for me is in the drying. It makes my hair super fuzzy with really dry ends. I see no added moisture and no benefit to using this.
