I am always skeptical about wearing pastel shades on my nails but i was really interested in trying this bright yellow shade. I was very excited to receive it as a present and it definitely lived up to my expectations. It takes a few coats to build and unlike many other pastels isn't streaky or hard to get perfect. It is a really lovely shade and looked good on my skin. It has a good shine and while it is a bright shade it is never too neon. Will repurchase

Jasper is a beautiful buttery yellow released for the 2013 spring collection. I got this because I haven't seen any colour like it so far. It's an easier yellow to wear than OPI's The "It" Color which is more of a school bus yellow. My experience so far is disappointing as it is thick and streaky. The colour is worth it though so I'll add some nail polish thinner to make it work but at $17Cdn I'd expect it to be great from the get-go. Bloggers have found it to be good enough to cover with one coat but it's a streaky mess to me. Even the second coat isn't great but it's late now and I don't want to wait for three thick streaky coats to dry! Because I love this colour I'm only taking off one lippie instead of two, and I would buy it again but on sale.
