I bought this after trying a sample at my dermatologist's. It is all I was looking for in a mineral sunblock.
The consistency is thick, almost like toothpaste, but it spreads easily. The tint looks dark tan out of the tube but blends away once you apply it. I have fair skin with a faint yellow undertone and it's impossible to tell that I had this product on. There is no ghostly mask effect.
The only disadvantage is that it will rub off on clothing, so I don't apply to my neck.
The silicones make skin feel smooth, and I have a feeling that the zinc oxide has been good for my skin as I have had zero breakouts.
As another reviewer pointed out, this product has a mattifying effect and if your skin is dry it will emphasize wrinkles, so it is a good idea to moisturize before applying.
My personal routine the last weeks has been to apply CE Ferulic serum first, followed by Welleda Everon cream, and finally Cotz.

This is a Titanium dioxide and ZO, physical ss for face w/ a matte finish. The 1st ingredient is alumina, the 2nd is cyclohexasiloxane, the 3rd is cyclopentasiloxane. The cyclos may be a problem for some. I like this stuff because it di not make my face greasy or shiny, had no white cast, and did not break me out. It is a brown tinted gel/cream that looks pretty dark, but when blended, was invisible on me. For reference, I'm a pale, greenish-yellow tinted person and this looked fine on me. I'm also VERY oily, so a person w/ dry skin may find this too drying. I love it because every other ss out there makes my shiny, oily skin even shinier and oilier looking. This does not, and is also fragrance-free. Looks matte w/o mu, and I can also apply mu over it no prob, but I let it soak in and sit for a few minutes before applying foundation, as I find it balls up a bit if I apply foundation immediately. Good stuff for oily skin.
