Sorry BigEars, I totally hated this one :(

It starts out with lemon and aldehydes with a touch of florals over a musty vetiver. The vetiver takes over after 10 minutes, leaving no trace of the lemon... it's just a musky, musty vetiver.

For those looking for a vetiver lemon combo, I would recommend the elegant Monsieur Balmain which has fresh lemon laid over cool, clean vetiver.

This began like the old O de Lancome witht he oakmoss very much to the fore. I liked this a lot because O was a hg until they reformed it and made it smell cheap. However the d/d of Lemon was not so nice. After half an hour it turned into a chemical lemon of the type usually found in cleaners. it was like rubbing lemon juice into a paper cut - ouch. I also think it is a bit expensive unless you go, as I did for the purse size. On balance htough I might buy again for use during a very hot summer. Notes are:
notes of lemon, lime, mandarin and bergamot blend with clary sage, jasmine and narcissus absolute for a unique, sweet yet sophisticated fragrance. Base notes of oak moss, patchouli, tonka and amber are infused with the sensual, warming scents of precious woods. Long-lasting and refreshing, Lemon is your ideal signature scent for a stylish Spring/Summer. A truly invigorating, fresh fragrance that evokes a sense of carefree adventure.
