I would compare this product to Vaseline in terms of its texture and its versatility (at least for some users), but it's a significant improvement on Vaseline in terms of ingredients, scent, and packaging. The skin on my arms and legs is perpetually dry, and Josie Maran's Infinity Cream does a wonderfully job softening them, with lasting effects. I would never, however, use this cream/lotion anywhere near my oily-prone face as suggested, as it's far too heavy. This means that many of the product's suggested uses are simply not an option for me, making this small $28 tube less of a smart purchase. I do like the packaging, though - it's a sturdy, fuss-free tube that's great for travel. Given the limited applications that this product has for someone of my skin type, I would not repurchase.

I'm loving this product. Consistency & uses are pretty much like Vaseline but without all the nasty petroleum in it. I use it to condition my lips, eyelashes, eyebrows, ends of my curly hair, sleek flyaways etc. But I've had the most fun using it to make cream products or to add moisture to products. We all have a drawer of products that we didn't like or that didn't work - for example, NARS Orgasm blush just doesn't work on me in powder form (though I love powder blushes) but mixed with this cream oil to create a cream blush I love it! I'm going back to so many unused items trying them in different ways with this cream.

I use it daily high on my cheekbones for extra glow & it hasn't broken me out. I live in a very dry area so sometimes I take a small amount, rub my hands together to warm & spread it out & press into my face for a moisture boost (like you would press in an oil). A little really goes a long way & you get a huge tube. I grabbed (okay, stole) a couple of the tiny sample cups with flip top lid from Sephora & decanted the cream into there for travel, the tube is too big to cart around. Fabulous multi-purpose product & it's a cream so it doesn't have to go in the liquids Ziploc bag when flying.

This product has done wonders for my skin. I have exceptionally dry skin on both my face and body. I have been a fan of the whole Josie Maran product line for a few years now and this product was new to the market a few months ago, I thought I'd give it a whirl. I generally use it as a part of my morning routine, I put about a dimes' worth on my finger and rub it all over my face, especially around my rose and forehead where I tend to be the driest. I do not have acne prone skin so it has not caused me to break out. It is a little on the greasy side and thick, and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to someone who has breakouts. I follow up by putting on a light BB cream then my normal makeup. I prefer it to the Josie Maran Argan Oil, it's easier to apply and much better for travel purposes. I would highly recommend this cream to anyone looking for an extra boost in hydration on their face and body.

where has this been half of my life? lol...I have dry/combo skin but mostly dry, especially my smile line area (too much laughing? teehee)...anywho, this is moisturizing without being greasy if you let it absorb for a few minutes. Works well under makeup and leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and dare I say "dewy". It smells like fresh oranges and a little goes a long way. When it was really cold, I mixed 2 drops of pure argan oil with it for extra extra moisture and my skin thanked me...highly recommend and if you don't like, just use it on your hair, hands, feet or as a night cream

Somehow I didn't like this product as I found it too greasy. I really wanted to like it, based on all the positive comments I find here, but it just didn't do it for me.

I have dehydrated skin and it helped moisturize, but 10-15 minutes after application my face was still greasy.. I cannot wait that long before putting makeup on, especially in the mornings, so I stopped using it for my face in order to finish it quickly. I thought maybe I was using too much and I tried less, but still with the same result.Too bad..

This has worked wonderfully on my dry hands and lips. You can also use this on the ends of your hair, and it helps with split ends. The first time I used this on my lips, they healed my dry cracked lips fast. This works good on my cuticles or any dry spots like my elbows or knees. The only sort of complaint I have is that it can get and feel a little greasy if you put too much so apply a little at a time. I love the packaging and that it doesn't test in animals. I also love that it doesn't have any nasty chemicals and that sort in it.

My skin is super dry especially in the winter time, it's flaky and cracks a lot even with a moisturizer so I started using this cream and it's a lifesaver. It really just improved my skin in one night. I use it as a nighttime moisturizer because it is really oily. My only complaint is a little doesn't go a long way and for $40 dollars, I would really like to use just a small amount at a time but it doesn't spread as evenly when I only use a small amount. But besides that I love this product ! :)

It's a lovely creamy oil. I have oily and hypersensitive skin. I am also prone to redness and irritation. I splurged at Sephora and I'm very glad that I bought this.

The texture is thick but creamy. I use a pea-sized of it on my face every night and next morning, my skin always look good and it feels soft. Oh, no redness too!

It's so versatile. You can use it as eye cream, lip balm, hand cream, heavy duty moisturizer for rough skin (elbows or knees) or night cream.

I will definitely splurge this whenever I can.

[edit (5/30/2013) - I don't think this is suitable for hot climates. When I opened the tube and it was really liquidy, not creamy. I did shake and hope it will become creamy but it didn't. I left it in the ref and it became solid again.]

This creamy oil is incredibly moisturizing. I use it primarily on my face and lips so the tube is going to last me forever. I've been using it in the morning/night but also in the late afternoon when my skin needs a boost but re-applying makeup would be silly (for example, when I get home from work). I really the way it makes my skin look and feel.

This was sold out at my local Sephora so I had to settle for a sample, which ended up being for the better. I don't love this, but I don't dislike it either. It's just not as great as I expected based on the overwhelmingly positive online reviews and the youtube promo video.

I'm a huge fan of using pure argan oil as an all over moisturizer, but this product (is it an oil? is it a cream?) just didn't wow or grow on me. It smells like the scrub in the Olay microdermbrasion kit (citrusy like oranges) and reminds me of lemon curd or chicken grease due to the yellowish color. Depending on the temperature, it's either watery or will solidify into a balm. I used this on my face and hands as a night time moisturizer and as a lip balm and it was a decent moisturizer but I haven't noticed any "tightening" of my facial contours like the stock description claims. My skin, while moisturized, didn't seem any more luminous than it would using any other moisturizer. I wouldn't use this during the day because it's too greasy to function as a facial moisturizer or cuticle/hand cream. I also tried this as a hair oil and it was okay, nothing special. It's also not moisturizing enough for dry winter heels. Sorry to be a downer but I just wasn't a fan of this. My sample is lasting forever though, so the full size tube of this will probably last a long time.
