I have been on the hunt for an eyeshadow primer or base that is long lasting but easy on the wallet and has no parabens and harsh chemicals. This can be hard to find because most eyeshadow primers or bases are around $20. There are rarely any drugstore brands, if yes, it will probably contain parabens. Surprisingly, I found the Sonia kashuk Extreme Wear Eye Base. It claims to "create the perfect canvas for color application and enhance staying power" HOWEVER, it didn't do the latter bit. It is a great light nude color but the staying power just isnt there. After 6 hours, my eyeshadow started creasing. I know this is an eyeshadow base but it also says that it extends eyeshadow wear.
Nice creamy texture
Light yellowy nude color
Small jar, need to use brush to take out product
Creases eyeshadow within 6 hours
I'd recommend this for more everyday wear for school or possibly work, but touch ups are a must... This is not for oily skinned girls at all. I will not repurchase but will finish using this because I paid $8.99 for it. I'd recommend sticking to the higher brands like UDPP or TFSI
