For reference I'm reviewing the Garnier hand cream that comes in a red tube for extra dry skin. The packaging also states that it has maple sap extract and glycerin.

I've had my tube for quite a while now. I keep forgetting to use hand cream and don't like having greasy hands. Luckily this one is great in that respect as it sinks in really quickly. I like that it does what it says on the tin, as it definitely repairs my chapped hands and makes them feel much softer.

The only downside is the smell. It has a very strong, sugary smell which gets a little much for me. When it comes to hand creams (and lipbalms for that matter) I prefer unscented products.

I'm not sure I'd buy this again to be honest. It does a good job but in future I'd probably choose the Norwegian Formula unscented hand cream.
