I don't know what everyone is talking about I love this!! It's helped so much for my oily skin. I only use it in the mornings to keep my oil at bay through the day and it really helps, but not too the point it's over drying. I'm about to finish the small tube of cleanser it comes with and I'm definitely going to purchase the larger bottle, can't get enough.

I bought this product because I've always had dirt and minimal oil stuck in my pores so I was hoping this would help, but nope. I used it before bed and when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom my face was so oily that it felt like I had been outside in 100 degree heat all day. I'm so disappointed.

The brush itself is great, if you're looking for a knockoff sort of Clarisonic product. The cleanser itself made my breakout with little bumps all over my t-zone, as soon as i stopped using it my skin went back to normal. Dissapointed because I was really excited about the shine minimizing feature and the clay! Oh well, I say give it a go, but if you're breaking out, it's the product.

Honestly, I originally bought this product because I had never had a face cleansing brush before. When I used it the first time it did leave the skin around my nose and lips pretty raw. I tried it again the next night & fell in love. You definitely need to use a light hand with this brush. If you don't I can see where you would think that it's too harsh.
All in all, it's a pretty great product. I have acne prone skin so sometimes I use a different cleanser with it. But the cleanser is great as well. I've been pretty sick the past few days & when I finally do get up the energy to get out of bed and wash my face. I use the brush and the cleanser and I feel loads better.
Definitely going to repurchase. (: continued >>

Horrible product!!!! This brush is rough and in NO way cleans the skin or is beneficial!!! It is rubber, hard bristles tearing away at your face. This thing doesn't glide freely over the face. It tugs and causes the skin to be red. & sore!!! I don't know how Olay was even able to put this thing on store shelves. It went into the trash! Never been soo disappointed!!! continued >>

When I received this in my Sweetheart box, I have to say that I was initially both a little apprehensive and skeptical.
I was worried that the included Shine Minimizing cleanser would be too stripping on my skin which is quite dry (and thus naturally shine-free) during the winter. However, I'm happy to report that it did no such thing! My skin feels very balanced and hydrated after cleansing with the Shine Minimizing cleanser. No irritation either! My skin has done a total 360 from moment I switched to the Olay Fresh Effects system from the Alpha Hydrox cleanser I was using.
I will say this though, this cleanser can be a little heavy and leave a bit of film on the skin if you're not using the brush with it. Make sure you wash it off well!
The included powered facial brush is really nice. I didn't think that it would make much difference because it vibrates rather than the brush head it's self actually rotating. Boy, was I wrong. Using the powered brush really does make my face not only feel more clean but it also imparts a lovely rosy glow that makes me look more radiant and awake. My skin seems more smooth after using it and my moisturizer glides right on afterwards, absorbing better and being more effective in the process. It also really keeps the pores on my nose much clearer than manual washing. I like it a lot and can't wait to try it out with different scrubs for exfoliating.
Over all, I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by Olay Fresh Effect's Cleansing System. It's gentle but very effective and I'm grateful to have it. If you're looking to try out a little facial brush but not wanting shell out money for the big guns (like Clarisonic) this might be something to look into.

The vibration in this brush is intense mostly in the handle part and really doesn't do much for my skin..... the little clenser the brush comes with makes my skin soft and does get rid of the oil around my nose well. You can buy the clenser or the scrub in a bigger bottle separately which is in my opinion the way to go ... the brush isn't worth it.....

Geesh that's a mouthful!

This retails for around $15 and what you get it s a little battery powered scrub brush thing and a bottle of cleanser. The scrub brush isn't your typical brush, it has fat rubber bristles and doesn't rotate but just vibrates kind of heavily. Olay claims it cleans 400% better than basic cleansing. Really I don't see how the brush does much but it does feel kind of good and if nothing else it increases blood flow to the skin which is never a bad thing. I really can't justify $15 for this though... it is kind of gimmicky.

I like the cleanser a lot though and it can be purchased separately. It is called Shine, Shine Go Away! Shine Minimizing Cleanser and it leaves my skin feeling really clean while removing all my makeup, rinses easily and is much better than the last shine reducing cleanser I used... which I think was Clean & Clear... it was full of zinc, I think? And left a white pasty film that was difficult to wash off. This is much much better and this cleanser is growing on me a lot. Skip the vibrating brush gimmick and just pick up a bottle of the cleanser to try. continued >>
