This is a light conditioner that moisturizes my curly, dry hair really well! As my latest, favorite conditioner, I'm only giving 4 stars because I haven't been using it for very long and want to see longterm results, and because I don't love the fragrance in the bottle. You can purchase at the health food store -- it has very little chemical junk. It has an ugly boring bottle so it probably gets passed by a lot just for that. It's very much worth testing for curlies who haven't been able to find the right product.

Edit: upping this to a 5 because I've been using it for months and it's great!

Which conditioner will work on you REALLY depends on what kind of hair you have so will try to describe -- wavy/curly 2c/3a -- so dry on the ends, long, soft and a little fine -- it looks thicker than it is because it has so much body. I've tried everything from heavy conditioners for African-American hair to fancy salon brands and so far this is the best. How I used it is if my hair is starting to get less shiny, or sticky with product, I make sure to use apple cider vinegar rinse first then follow with this. (For a little more control on the curl, I smooth it with some Ouidad Climate Control.)

The other thing that makes a BIG difference in how conditioners work on your hair is the climate you live in. Ouidad makes my hair crunchy when I stay in Santa Monica but just a few miles away and my hair stays soft.
