Pricey? Yes. But I really enjoy this Lilly of the Valley scented oil, mainly for hair. And skin. My hair gets treated poorly year-round by the Pacific Ocean as I am a surfer girl. Therefore, I try to baby it otherwise. After a dollop of my leave in conditioner I use a few generous sprays of this oil on the length, then comb it through and air dry overnight. The smell is to die for, and it leaves my natural waves soft and not overly greasy.
I am in LOVE! I'm very hesitant about picking up any multipurpose product because then I feel that it won't really work to its full potential since its trying to do so many things at once. Also, i am extremely picky about what i put on my face. (I have combination skin) HOWEVER, I can't rave enough about this oil. Right now I'm using it on my face before bed. and it has definitely helps with oil control t/o the day! I don't need to blot as much which is rare because I usually need to do something about my t-zone during this time of year. I love it just like I do anything CaudalĂe. This brand never let's me down. Favorite
I would give the the natural fragrance of this 10 stars. Yes, it is that good! Well, there are better moisturizers out there, but who cares? This is really Divine.

I LOVE this product. It smells amazing and I've been using it as a perfume / body moisturizer. I know this can also be used for the face, hair and nails but its a little too frangranced for the face, and I have other products for my hair. Whenever I use this, it just feels so luxurious. My only con for this product is the price. Its US$49 for 100mls - this lasted me about 4 months, and that was not even with daily use. I would buy again, but I'm currently looking for a cheaper alternative.
There are only good things to tell about this product, a true cosmetic gem.
Since I have an oily complexion from my early teens, I tend to be very careful with oil remedies and fear that the mere act of applying them to body parts other than my face would leave my hands too greasy - which would end up putting that extra grease on my face and increasing the sebum production. Well, if you have these kind of issues, don't worry: this is truly a dry oil, so quickly absorbed by your skin (even your hand's skin!) that you don't have to worry about rinsing your hands after applying it. Plus, the fragrance is so delicious (a summery rose-argan blend, very exotic and sophisticated) that I doubt that you'd want to get rid of it!
It is also very versatile, so I find it a real smart buy considering the multiple functions it can have: a body moisturizer, a face oil for dry complexions and an express treatment for hair with split ends. Lately I have been using it mostly for hair care, since it is deeply nourishing and very lightweight, and also because the 50 ml. will end really quickly if you use it for hydrating your body, but I'm pretty sure it does a great job in either of these purposes.
Last but not the least, the presentation - a classy bottle in an amber shade, with a spray applicator and topped with a wooden lid. So beautiful that instead of keeping it in the usual bathroom cabinet, most of the times I want to show it up on the counter, next to the fragrances.
Thus, the only thing I regret about Huile Divine is that it is only sold in one size. If Caudalie ever decided to release a jumbo bottle of this product, I would surely run to the stores to buy it.

Found this as a recommendation for its fragrance. It took only a small sample from Sephora to convince me to return the next day for a full bottle. The $15 smalller bottles are all gone so I had to buy the huge bottle for C$49. Never mind - my husband and I love the smell and the moisturizing benefits without the greasiness. It also promises to be for hair, body and face. Yet to try on the face as I want to avoid pistules or zits but will try one day. If this doesn't cause any skin irritations, bumps, zits, pistules (thus reserving a 5lippie for more thorough use), there will be many more bottles in our future. I may even stock up.
Pros:
- fragance! so very heavenly
- very moisturizing without being greasy
- can be used as massage oil (hubby loves this esp for his dry skin)
- beautiful glass pump bottle
- no paraben, sulfates (family have sensitive skin)
- does not stain clothes
- large bottle will sustain me for awhile so it really is cost-effective
Cons:
- only available in one size (not as affordable to some people but hey, that could be a pro for me since no one else I know will smell the same)

I love this oil. I am a big fan of oils, to start with, but this one really amazed me. It smells gorgeous, very natural and refined. It hydrates very well for a lighter weight oil. It applies so well that it feels wonderful to apply and absorbs well into the skin. It works even better when used after treating one's skin with the Caudalie Gommage. My skin is left with a beautiful, brightened glow.
The packaging impressed me also! It is housed in a beautifully made glass bottle with an etching on the back of the brand's core ingredient, the grape. This glows through the bottle to the front. Even better than these is the sprayer. It is perfect. Once I have finished up this product, I think I will keep the bottle so that I may still enjoy the sprayer. It mists the perfect amount of product onto the skin and in the most continuous and uniform manner. I love it.
This is a very very well made product. I highly recommend this oil.
