About me: NW13 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.
I purchased this in Perfectly Pink. It has almost no color pay off, especially after you blend. It just looks like glitter. The formula is stiff. For $10 at CVS, this is disappointing.
This is a stick cream eyeshadow that has a nice, subtle color payoff. I don't like a lot of eyeshadow, and these are a nice, easy way to apply eyeshadow without it looking overdone. The stick formula makes it easy to swipe on - and it's almost impossible to overdo this product. I would definitely repurchase!
I got these through BzzAgent. The consistency is smooth and creamy, and they really are crease-proof, but the color payoff just isn't there. Even with several layers of application, the color was still very sheer and barely noticeable.
Standing alone, these would only be worth considering if you want a *very* subtle, barely-noticeable look. I did use them as a base for other shadows, and they worked very well for that, but there are other bases that are just as good for less.
Overall, I can't say I would recommend these. They work well enough as a base, but other than that, the color payoff is too poor for them to be worth considering as a stand-alone product.
I got the purple one "Stay put Plum". It is sheer but the best thing I like about it is that it is not sparkly. It shows up more of a lilac color on me. As a lark I put this on top of powder eyeshadow ( Wet and Wild Petal Pusher) and it stayed put for about 4 hours. The next day I put it on top of Maybelline's Color Tattoo Barely Beige and it lasted longer. This is better than the Revlon one which was too greasy, and Cover Girl's.
I bought the Taupe and the Pink color. Neither one showed up on me. I tried both with and without primer with no change. I would not waste your money.
As an on-the-go kind of gal, I am forever in search of make-up with the easiest application and staying power. Well, I found it with this product. I love the smooth consistency of the stick shadow which makes application a cinch. I bought both the taupe and pink colors and use the taupe in the crease of my eye and the pink on the overall lid and then I blend the two out for a more natural look. The look is natural, yet presentable -- and can be done in less than 15 seconds. My lids are on the oily side and I'd say by the mid-afternoon, the color would fade a bit, but I keep a second taupe in my purse for an easy touch-up as well. This is a must buy in my book.
This stick shadow ( pink) doesnt even show up on my fair skin, even with multiple swipes. Last thing I ever buy from this brand.Like a cheap waxy crayon.
