This was just an average shampoo for me. It was quite drying and though it didn't completely dry out my hair, it didn't really wow me enough to want to buy it again. It does clean my hair and it rinses clean. It lathers well and you don't need to use a lot. The beads in it do nothing I can tell but it has a lovely candy scent. Paired with the matching conditioner, my hair had a good texture in some places but made some areas frizzy and undefined. Not a good look. I decided to pass this on to my hubby who has fine, oily hair and see if he has better luck but I will not repurchase for myself. I am really disappointed as I do like the sleek and shine line and was hoping this would be good too. I still like the treatment, so I will stick with that.

I'm enjoying this shampoo a ton! I usually use natural and organic products, but sometimes I just don't have the funds to buy everything from Whole Foods, so I gave this a try based on the reviews and based on the fact that Garnier products have never caused an allergic reaction for my very sensitive, crazy-pants skin.

This shampoo contains sodium laureth sulfate, which is less drying than lauryl sulfate, so that's a plus. It's still slightly drying, but only in comparison to sulfate free products I'm used to. I'm personally a fan of silicones, and the cones used in this shampoo and conditioner are lightweight and don't built up--at least they haven't yet, but they really don't seem like they will.

The scent is really nice and fruity. Perfect for spring and summer. It's very clean-smelling but it doesn't linger long after the shower unless I put my hair up against my nose.

I'm neutral about the little beads. I neither like them nor do I dislike them. They're just kind of there.

It's three dollars, so I'd say it's worth a try.

I bought this shampoo because I was running low on my usual Paul Mitchell, and the micro beads are what caught my attention. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. It's also wavy and is easily weighed down and prone to buildup. I havent experienced any of this since I started using it about two weeks ago! I also bought the matching conditioner, and I love it just as much. Makes my hair feel so soft, hydrated, and manageable. Normally, I have to wash my hair every single day because no matter what I do (or don't) do to it, I wake up with a wiry, rough coarse, matted, tangled, frizzy, greasy mess. With this stuff, I only have to wash my hair every other day, sometimes even every 3 days! It looks the same as it does on the first day, maybe even better. I havent had much luck with drugstore brands, so I usually stuck to salon products. Not any more, though! Thank you, Garnier. This is my new HG.

So i have read both the good and bad comments and it seems all the bad comments are coming from people using the free sample from that bzzabn WHATEVER. My first time using this product i needed shampoo and conditioner and these were in the bathroom upstairs. I tried it at 10:00 and went to bed. BAD IDEA. I woke up the next day with super oily hair. ONLY BECAUSE i slept on it soaking wet. I used it again and my hair was perfect. I've been using this for about a week now and I LOVE IT. the SMELL MY GOSH IS AMAZING and my hair feels so soft. It made my hair feel great, less frizzy, thinner, softer, shinier and it can last for about 2 1-/2 days without needing a wash if im not playing sports. This shampoo is also great after coming in contact with my skin. NO i do not just aply it to my skin... i mean if I'm shampooing my hair and it gets on my skin. I have SUPER sensitive skin. I have to use all organic creme and exemia creams for my skin not to itch like itching powder. Over all i love this product. HOWEVER i do not like how the shampoo feels putting into my hair. but thats it.

I just purchased the Hydra Recharge shampoo yesterday. I washed my hair with it yesterday too and my hair has never been more soft. The little fruit beads in the shampoo smell so good! I got the shampoo on discount with the purchase of the Sleek and Shine (haven't tried it out yet) so it was quite the bargain. my hair is soooo smooth and shiny. I absolutely love it! The packaging looks really nice. I believe it is one of the more ellaborate looking Garnier products. Either way the product they put in is definitely a keeper and i will be repurchasing it when I run out ^__^

I rarely write reviews on shampoo/conditioner combo but this combo seriously deserves one. My hair is very weird. Kind of heavy but very oil in the roots. This shampoo conditioner combo takes care of all this and leaves my hair smelly yummy, soft, shiny and with a lot of weightless bounce. I just bought it on a whim at Walmart and I am so glad I did. I am looking forward to try the deep conditioning mask next. With this its so easy to style my hair now. Try it and you won't regret it :)

I am a BzzAgent (www.bzzagent.com) and was recently given the opportunity to try Garnier Fructis’ new line, Hydra Recharge for FREE! The Bzz package that I received included a Hydra Recharge Shampoo, a Hydra Recharge Conditioner, and a 1-Minute-Moisture-Plenish Treatment.

When first opening the shampoo I’m not bowled over by an overwhelming scent. It smells fresh and clean and that works for me! The micro beads in the shampoo made me a little nervous yet giddy at first. I am a fan of randomly using facial scrubs with micro beads and I was curious what exactly this would do to my hair. The product lathered beautifully and I love the micro beads. I didn’t feel as though I was losing moisture while shampooing, which is one thing that I loathe about shampoo, but I don’t think the product is color-user friendly. I have noticed lightening in different parts of my hair and I just recently colored…. my hair is dark, dark brown...almost black. That is one negative but I’m not sure how that compares to the element of moisturizing.

My hair is very dry and dull and heavy! I really needed a good shampoo/conditioner that would repair my hair, yet not break my bank. I have high standards for my hair and I expect them to be met. There are 5 major necessities to a good shampoo/conditioner. First, the conditioner has to be able to smooth out my tangles. Because my hair does get tangled very easy since its so long and I usually just wear it down. I have tried many conditioners that did not untangle my hair so this is a very important key. The Hydra Recharge conditioner smoothed out my hair making it feel soft and manageable, which was a load off my shoulders. Second, the shampoo needs to actually foam up without having to use a whole handful. Trust me i have used shampoos where I've had to keep pouring more into my hand because its never enough to get all through my hair! Using the Hydra Recharge shampoo was a breeze! It has been a month and i still have more than enough left in the bottle! You only need a small palm sized amount and it lathers up my whole head getting every spot needed! Third..the product i am using should smell good. Its so nice when people lean over by you and say "man your hair smells good!" To be able to go through everything your hair does and then come out still smelling nice is of course a plus. I loved the smell of this Garnier product, its fruity but not over powering and lasts up to the next day even! Fourth and fifth star is the price and results...I love that this product is so good on my hair, it really truly does live up to its expectation and hype! Because it does have everything you want, you'd expect it to the cost about 15-20 dollars a bottle, but nope you can get it at Walmart for $3!! How awesome is that! A salon quality product at an affordable price. BONUS! The Garnier Fructis 1 minute moisture-plenish treatment. This can NOT be forgotten in your routine! It is an unforgettable product that I hope never leaves. What I like to do is when i use the conditioner, only apply it to the tips of my hair and then rinse. When using the 1 minute treatment, apply it starting at the root and work your way down. That way my whole head of hair really gets worked and hydrated instead of the ends only. After you rinse your hair it will feel like gold! Suuuper soft luxurious locks! And the nice thing is that is lasts after you dry and style your hair. I can not wait to jump in the shower just because of this product. My hair has never felt better and more hydrated. I would highly recommend this Garnier Fructis treatment for soft hair that lasts!

I loved this line to be honest, I have tried different Garnier products of hair care products when it came to shampoo and conditioner,i wasn't very excited for it because I felt like they didn't do much for my hair but with this shampoo and the conditioner it made my hair not only smell amazing, but it added a nice lift to it.
