I bought this nude eyeliner for lining my waterline after reading the rave reviews on MUA, but I have to say that so far I'm disappointed. It's an ok eyeliner for the waterline but definitely not HG.
To start off, the colour is a bit too dark for the waterline. I have medium skin tone and find the colour to dark to brighten my eyes properly. How can this colour work on someone with pale/light skin tone? The texture is creamy enough that it glides on smoothly without tugging and pulling, and it's also not too creamy that it wears off in 2 hours. This supposedly waterproof eyeliner lasts only 4-5 hours on me, which is hardly waterproof in my opinion. However, when I try to remove it, it seems to be resistant to makeup removers/cleansers, which is frustrating.
Verdict: I'm glad I gave this a try to see what the fuss is about, and it is a good eyeliner but not great. I will use up this pencil and will not repurchase.
These eyeliners are amazing in all shades! They apply smooth and creamy without skipping. They stay FOREVER. The price is freakin' dirt cheap. The color range is great! This nude color is wonderful for canceling out the redness in the waterline and brightening and making your eyes look larger. White is also a great color for this effect but nude is more natural. Not as stark for work days.
I like these better then my 24/7 Urban Decay liners. HG for sure!
You apply this stuff and it lasts longer than any other liner (doesn't last all day for me). It brightens up your look and makes you look more awake. I couldn't ask for more except longer lasting. I don't think that's going to happen when lining my waterline. I've never had a product stay and this does its finest at lasting the longest. I'd suggest at least giving it a try.
I use it here and there on the water line and it's nice...not as obvious as white eyeline. However, I have recently broken out in the worst way. In a moment of desperation, I thought, "what the hell" and used it as concealer. Holy crap! It matches perfectly, holds up all day and doesn't get cakey. As I type this, the 4 large blemishes on my chin are barely visible....9 hours after I applied it. Now hoping it doesn't break me out further, but so far, this is a revelation!
Honestly I used to see this in the store and think, "WTF would anyone use a nude colored eyeliner for?!" and now I get it lol. This is such a great multi use eyeliner. I use it on my waterline and inner corners to brighten it up. I use it above and below my eyebrows after I fill them in to make them look neater. I also use it as a tiny spot concealer and it's perfect for that. Very high quality and will definitely purchase again now that I know how to use it.
This stuff is pretty much gold. You really cant beat it for the price.
This took me a few tries to get it to work outside my waterline. It sets very quickly.
As stated, this is perfect for the waterline, but I also like to even out my skintone and use this with a concealer brush to dab dab dab wherever I need it. In fact, this almost works as a concealer with bonus points for being waterproof on my weepy eyes.
Wear time is decent, but I am thinking about a second pencil to keep in my purse for mid day touch-ups.
Very good d/s product at a very good price
I really like this!!!! I mostly buy MAC and pixi eyeliners but they run and smudge!!! This is perfect on the waterline to make my eyes look bigger, bolder, and brighter. It lasts a long time in the waterline and it is cheap....Love it!!!!
Very creamy and pigmented - I originally bought this for the waterline, but I almost find it too creamy/pigmented to use there. It gets all in my lower lashes because it is so soft, and it's so pigmented that to me it almost looks too stark in my waterline even though I got nude rather than white to avoid that starkness - I only wanted a subtle brightening effect. So I didn't end up using it much for the purpose I originally bought it.
BUT - I have found other great uses for it that make me glad I bought it. It's great at the inner corners of the eyes, just brightens up slightly, and is also nice to pat a highlight shade over when you really want your inner corner highlight to stand out and last a bit better.
Another great use for it - I like the look of bright coloured eyeliner on the top lid with minimal neutral eyeshadows. But I don't really have bright coloured eyeliner and I'm not gonna go out and buy a bunch that I'll rarely use. But what I do have are tons of eyeshadows (hello palettes!) and this! I put it on my lids just like regular eyeliner, and since it is so creamy, I can pat any bright eyeshadow over it with an angled brush and it just grabs it and holds it and VOILA, bright eyeliner!
Meh! I was really looking forward to going and getting these liners after reading such good reviews I thought I might finally be on to an eyeliner that went on smooth and stayed there! Unfortunately other than it going on smooth this wasn't the case :( it smudged faded and when used for tightlining I found it to transfer to my lower waterline, its a really lovely nude colour though I also got the taupe which I love! Ill probably still use them its just a case of reapplying I guess.
I have been finding a good pale eyeliner to line the waterline, and i have tried one or two white ones. finally, have heard some good feedback from this liner, and decided to give it a try. I bought mine for 6$, it wasnt on sale.
-It is so smooth! It glides on the waterline very smoothly, compared to other liners.
-It is a good shade for darker skin tones. I am medium skin tone, and white eyeliners are harsh on me...So this shade is great!
-Good staying power
-You have to sharpen it
In conclusion, I would totally repurchase and recommend it to all of you! Especially if you have darker skin and want to find a good waterliner that does not look too harsh.
